<p data-start="157" data-end="266">Showing her white teeth, yet appearing quite nervous, the young woman appeared in a police officer uniform—</p>
<p data-start="268" data-end="737">She is promising young actor Haruki Nakagawa (15). On February 21, at Futako-Tamagawa Station on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line (Setagaya, Tokyo), a “Shoplifting &amp; Traffic Safety Campaign” was held, and Nakagawa was appointed one-day police chief for the Tamagawa Police Station. Appearing in uniform, Nakagawa showed a bewildered expression at the large crowd at the event, standing so straight that not only her back but even her fingertips were perfectly aligned.</p>
<p data-start="739" data-end="1046">Nakagawa gained attention last December appearing in SoftBank’s commercial titled “The Goal is Above Yourself.” In the ad, Nakagawa, 164 cm tall, throws a free throw in a basketball uniform while beginning with the line, “I wonder how many shots I’ve taken so far,” which brought her into the spotlight.</p>
<p data-start="1048" data-end="1550"><strong>“Nakagawa is from Toyokawa City, Aichi Prefecture, and is a current high school student enrolled as a basketball scholarship student. In 2024, during a school trip in Tokyo, she was scouted by her current agency and made her acting debut in this commercial. In an interview with Sports Hochi (March 4), she reported that she moved her base of life to Tokyo this January, saying, ‘I went to Shibuya for the first time, and my eyes got tired,’ leaving an innocent comment,”</strong> said a TV magazine writer.</p>
<p data-start="1552" data-end="1920">The event took place in the station concourse, and at the start, Nakagawa declared strongly, “Don’t shoplift! Don’t let others do it! Don’t overlook it!” Her earnest and fresh appearance drew cheers and applause from the crowd. Afterwards, she helped distribute campaign flyers with the local traffic youth group. Speaking to reporters after the event, she said:</p>
<p data-start="1552" data-end="1920"><strong>“I was very nervous, but I’m relieved it ended safely. I’m glad I could convey that shoplifting shouldn’t be taken lightly.”</strong></p>
<p data-start="2052" data-end="2459">When asked about her upcoming plans, Nakagawa said, “I’ll soon be able to announce my drama debut,” and it was revealed she will appear in the currently airing Fuji TV drama “Professional: Insurance Investigator Ren Amane” starring Hiroshi Tamaki (46). As a rising actor expected to be the next big breakout star, everyone is looking forward to seeing what kind of performance Nakagawa will deliver.</p>
