Miss Maga 2024 "Miss Weekly Shonen Magazine" Nao Hanashiro Interview
She had never worn a bikini before.”
Nao Hanashiro, who won “Miss Weekly Shonen Magazine” in Miss Maga 2024, is making her first appearance in FRIDAY, which is on sale now. She is the center of the idol group Kyu~kuru, and is 21 years old and from Okinawa. We interviewed this hot new heroine.

-You are from Okinawa, aren’t you?
Hanashiro is my real name, and it is a common surname in Okinawa. Hanashiro is not that well-known and is often referred to as “Hanaki” or “Hanajo. Please remember “Hanashiro”.
What I recommend in Okinawa is Senaga Island! It is close to Naha and is a reflection spot with many white buildings. I used to go there often when I lived there.”
-Miss Weekly Shonen Magazine” was won in Miss Maga 2024.
I wanted to challenge various things while working as an idol after moving to Tokyo. I was approached by an agency at that time, and I thought, ‘This is my last time as a teenager, so I have to take on this challenge! I was like, ‘This is my last time as a teenager, so I have to take on this challenge!
I am from Okinawa, but I had never worn a bikini before. Even when I went to the beach, I used to wear swimming suits and T-shirts, so this was my first experience wearing a cute bathing suit. I was anxious and nervous, but the shoot was fun and I got to see a new world.
Gravure was the first time people got to know me, and more and more people came to my shows! I was very happy when a fan said to me, “If it weren’t for Gravure, I wouldn’t have known about you and I wouldn’t have met you.
-I was very happy when a fan said to me, ‘I wouldn’t have known about you if it wasn’t for Gravia. I was very happy when a fan said to me, ‘I didn’t know I had met Gravia! I heard that you appeared in the live-action love simulation game “Antenna of Love: Bing Bing Bing Besso.
I’ve always loved live-action video games, and I’ve watched live-action romance games as well. I thought I would like to be a heroine too (……), so I auditioned.”
A “making-of” video closely following her first Friday gravure is also available!

I played the role of an “annoying and cute” childhood friend.
-What kind of character do you play as Nao?
I think that most childhood friends have a tsuntsun temperament and are not just dere-dere, but this role is a full-fledged “dere” character. I think she is a very rare heroine because she is an annoying and cute childhood friend who can convey the feeling of ‘I love you’ to the point of annoyance.
However, my manager sometimes says to me, “Nao, you are just like you are, aren’t you? (Laughs) I think that is why the role suited me so well. Rather than acting, I played the role with an honest feeling, thinking, ‘If it were me, I would make this kind of face.

-What are the highlights of the story and who is your favorite heroine?
As the number of heroines increases, I think it is interesting to see how the girls bicker with each other and how they are not just cute. Nagi-chan in particular is about the same age as the heroine, so they stare at each other and fight over the hero (laughs).
(Laughs.) I like Nagi-chan the best, partly because I became good friends with Non-chan Nagisa, who played Nagi-chan, during the filming. At first I wondered if she was grumpy. But sometimes she shows us her deleterious side. I like the way she opens up to me little by little as we spend time together.
But …… they are all so cute that it’s hard to choose just one. The storyline changes depending on the choices you make, so I hope you’ll try them all out.”
