Erika Karada…changed her look to “loose and fluffy hair and a mini one-piece”! She showed her “cute” figure at the stage greeting of a new movie.
She is cute after all!
I am so happy that so many people came to see us today. Please enjoy the film until the end. I look forward to seeing you all.
It was actor Erika Karada (28) who greeted the large audience gathered at the movie theater in a calm tone.
On January 23, the opening day of the “Love Trial” movie was held at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya, where Karada took the stage with leading actress Kyoko Saito (28), Kenjiro Tsuda (54), director Koji Fukada, and others.
The film is an original work inspired by a lawsuit filed by female idols over a “violation of a no love contract” that took place in 2003. The film depicts Mai Yamaoka (played by Saito), the center of the idol group Happy☆Fanfare (a.k.a. Happi☆Fan), being harshly pursued in court for breaking her “no love contract. Karada plays Saya Yabuki, a manager at an entertainment agency who files a civil suit against an idol who caused a love scandal.
She auditioned for the role and was chosen to appear in the film, but since she herself has a history of love scandals that have caused a lot of publicity, she was the talk of the town from the time the cast was announced,” said a reporter for a movie magazine.
On this day, Karada appeared in a mini one-piece in a unique fashion, with her black hair curled loosely. She looked as cute as an active idol. Saito was asked about her memories of the filming,
Saito replied, “The six of us, including Ms. Karada, became such good friends that we formed a LINE group called ‘Happi☆Fan’ (Happi☆Fan). (When Saito was asked about his memories of the shoot, Karada replied, “We got along so well that the six of us, including Mr. Karada, formed a LINE group called ‘Happi☆Fan’.
Karada seemed genuinely embarrassed and said, “I’m so happy. When asked by the host what he wanted the audience to pay attention to in the film, he replied, “The cut that left the biggest impression on me,
There is a cut that left a deep impression on me. When I saw that cut, I felt my own feelings, or the depth of my feelings, or the irresistible force of nature, or the …… characteristic of the cut.
He spoke with a scene near the end of the film in his mind.
Karada had been on hiatus for a while after a love scandal was reported in 2008. Nevertheless, her reputation as an actor rose dramatically when she enthusiastically played the role of Chikusa Nagayo, a female pro-wrestler, in “Gokuakuju Joou,” which began streaming on Netflix in September ’24. In the same year, she returned to terrestrial broadcasting, albeit in a minor role, in “Lie Unraveling Rhetoric” (Fuji Television). She also starred in the drama “The 102nd Proposal,” which is available on Fuji Television’s FOD channel and is scheduled to be broadcast on terrestrial television.
Karada’s performance in the movie was also highly acclaimed, with some commenting on social networking sites that “having her talk about the prohibition of idol love is too harsh,” but the majority of comments were favorable, saying that “her acting is a grade higher” and “she is cute after all.
The day when Karada plays a heroine in a terrestrial TV drama may not be far off.
