No more spending a whole week on document creation! A current consultant reveals the god-tier time-saving technique

Text corruption? Gone!

Google’s latest image-generation AI model, Nano Banana Pro, released in November 2025, has dramatically improved prompt comprehension and rendering accuracy. Users of generative AI are praising its usefulness for both business and creative purposes.

“As a management consultant, I spend a lot of time creating documents. Previously, a presentation in PowerPoint could take a full week, but using Nano Banana Pro, I can complete it—including revisions—in just one day. The precision of slide images and diagrams has improved tremendously. It’s god-level convenience.”

Yoshigi, a management consultant at a major consulting firm who shares tips on “AI for career and job-hunting” on X (formerly Twitter), also highly praises it.

What makes Nano Banana Pro so remarkable, and how is it different from other image-generation AI? Yoshigi points out four key features:

◇ Strong in Japanese

“First, the accuracy of Japanese text generated within images has improved significantly. Other AI often produces garbled text when inserting Japanese, but Nano Banana Pro can correctly render text for flyers, posters, postcards, etc. The weird pseudo-Kanji characters you used to see have almost disappeared.”

◇ Maintains the same character consistently

“For example, if you ask it to draw a four-panel comic with a character explaining a new product, once the character is set, it keeps the character’s appearance across all panels while varying expressions and poses. There’s no situation where the character suddenly looks different in the next panel.”

◇ Enhanced photo-compositing capabilities

“The ability to combine and edit multiple images has improved. You could upload ① a 30-year-old businessman, ② a suit, and ③ an energy drink image, then instruct: ‘Combine these to create an image of the businessman drinking an energy drink in an office district, posing like a model’, and it produces exactly that.”

◇ Accurately reproduces instructed layouts

“It precisely follows layout instructions, such as ‘Place the title at the top, the main diagram in the center’ or ‘Place the character in the bottom right corner.’ It even responds to requests like ‘Create a 45-degree angled composition with depth.’ It’s extremely capable.”

Why “Nano Banana Pro” Works for Work (Created by Yoshigi)

Adjectives are the key!

Nano Banana Pro’s official name is “Gemini 3 Pro Image”, and it’s typically used via Google’s generative AI Gemini or the AI assistant tool NotebookLM. For business use, it’s ideal for creating presentation slides, infographics, diagrams, manual illustrations, event or advertising posters and banners, and more.

Yoshigi, who runs an online salon teaching AI utilization and social media strategies as a side business, says that the area businesspeople are most interested in is visualizing presentations and seminar materials.

“Just like gathering information or conducting research with Gemini, creating images with Nano Banana Pro requires prompts. Image generation is deep, and it can be tricky to get the exact image you want. I’ve spent a lot of time experimenting and refining prompts myself.”

Here are Yoshigi’s tips and points of caution when creating images for presentation slides with Nano Banana Pro:

Be specific with titles and key points.

For images with titles, instruct clearly, e.g., “Place the title at the top in large letters.”

Specify the image style.

Indicate whether you want an illustration, a photo-realistic look, or a manga style. You can also use adjectives like simple or playful to convey the desired mood.

Text in diagrams or flowcharts should be explicit.

Include all elements you want in the image, using adjectives and adverbs to give clear, concrete instructions.

A week becomes a day!

However, trying to create an entire presentation solely with Nano Banana Pro is premature. Yoshigi recommends using tools according to their purpose for maximum efficiency.

“First, start by using the ‘Canvas’ feature in Gemini to plan the structure of your materials.

Canvas is a function that allows you to create, edit, preview, and output text all on a single screen. To use it, press the tool button and select Canvas.

‘Create a slide structure for a presentation on social media strategies for businesspeople.’

If you enter a prompt like this, it will present a proposed slide structure. You can then review the content and make any necessary corrections or additions.

Next, instruct in the text field: ‘Based on this structure, generate slides in Canvas and make them previewable.’ Within a few minutes, slides corresponding to the proposed structure are generated. By pressing ‘Export to Slides’ at the top right of the screen, you can output them to the presentation tool Google Slides, allowing you to freely replace images on each page.

Google Slides comes equipped with Gemini. For critical “key slides,” you can use Gemini’s Nano Banana Pro to professionally polish them.”

However, Gemini in Google Slides is not available in the free version. To create “key slides” with the free version, you must first exit Google Slides and access Gemini again. Press ‘Create Image,’ select ‘Thinking Mode,’ and instruct: ‘Generate images for use in presentation slides. The content is ○○.’ Nano Banana Pro will then start generating the images.

Once the images are generated, save them to your PC. Open Google Slides, select the target slide, and replace it with the generated image. Since the free version is limited to about three images per day, it’s best to focus on the most important slides.

“Let Canvas handle the overall structure, and use Nano Banana Pro for generating visuals and fine-tuning details. This combination can be considered the best practice for creating high-quality materials from scratch in a short time.

Even the free version can do this, but with the paid version, you can use Nano Banana Pro directly on the Google Slides screen. By entering prompts and clicking, you can instantly generate original slides. Depending on how frequently you use it, you might consider the paid Google Workspace version.”

“If you upload the URL of a site about how to use Slack to NotebookLM and instruct it to create <slide materials>, it can produce a dozen or so slides in about 10 minutes. You don’t need to create a prompt, which dramatically shortens the time required” (partial, Yoshigi).

From Gemini? Or from NotebookLM?

Nano Banana Pro can also be used within NotebookLM.

NotebookLM is a free AI assistant tool that reads materials uploaded by the user—such as documents, PDFs, or websites—and can summarize content, answer questions, or generate ideas.

With Nano Banana Pro integrated, you can now generate slides or infographics with a single click based on the uploaded materials.

“Slide generation in NotebookLM is extremely helpful for creating materials. For example, suppose you are preparing a seminar presentation on the business chat tool Slack.

You upload the URL of a site explaining how to use Slack to NotebookLM, select <slide materials> from the panel on the right, and in about 10 minutes it produces a dozen or so slides. There’s no need to create prompts, dramatically reducing the time spent on preparation.

Moreover, NotebookLM only reads the information you upload, so hallucinations (producing information that is factually incorrect) are less likely to occur, making it highly reliable.”

Given how convenient this is, it seems ideal to generate slide images via NotebookLM when using Nano Banana Pro.

“Using Nano Banana Pro through NotebookLM is indeed cost-effective for creating images. It’s convenient for quickly making materials you want to use immediately.

However, NotebookLM doesn’t allow you to edit the generated images on-screen, and output is limited to PDF. If you want to customize by changing text or adding slides yourself, it’s better to use Gemini.”

By spring 2025, Nano Banana Pro had moved beyond its image as an anime-style image editing tool and evolved into a practical tool for business use—making it indispensable for work.

“It’s fun to experiment while creating images, and as you use it, your prompt quality improves, allowing you to generate images exactly as intended.”

“The accuracy of slide images and diagrams has improved tremendously. It’s already god-level convenient,” said Yoshigi.
