Smiles burst out on stage! The grand prix winner of the “Race Ambassador Award” showed her “outstanding style.
Historic Contest, Now in Its 16th Year
The “Japan Race Queen Awards” started in 2010 and has become a Tokyo Auto Salon specialty. With the trend of changing the name of race queens to race ambassadors, the contest has been held as the “Nissitan Clinic Race Ambassador Award” since 2012.
Although the name has changed, the method of selecting the most popular race ambassadors from among the race ambassadors who color the circuit through a general election by fan votes remains the same. Voting started with a special advance vote at the Super GT Round 8 held at Mobility Resort Motegi on November 1-2, and web voting started on November 17 on the official Gal’s Paradise website and the Race Ambassador Award official website. The top 20 finalists, determined by adding up the points from the web votes, magazine ballots, and special advance votes, stood on stage at the “Nissitan Clinic Race Ambassador Award 2025 Award Ceremony” held at the Event Hall of Makuhari Messe on January 10, 2012.
There were five winners of the Race Ambassador Award 2025. All of them are active in Super GT: Ana Abiru of WinG, Anna Kamezawa of Astemo Ambassadors, Kaori Tachibana of D’station Fresh Angels, Minori Teraji of ZENTsweeties, and Shiori Negishi of Modulo Smile. The five are highly popular, but they are not the only ones who are making a name for themselves. The five are highly popular, but it was Minori Teraji who was chosen as the “Grand Prix,” the pinnacle of race ambassadors.
After receiving the award, she shared her joy with us.
I am very happy to have won the Grand Prix on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of ZENTsweeties, the company I belong to. Since I decided to challenge for the award, I felt the weight of the award very strongly and sometimes I was almost crushed by the pressure, but I was able to do my best with the support of my fans, colleagues, family, and friends.
I am truly blessed to be able to put in such effort and receive such support. I also felt once again that it is important for me to continue to be thankful. I will not take anything for granted, and I will continue to be grateful to everyone who supports me in my activities. Thank you very much.
Among the speakers, Kako Tachibana, who won the “Weekly Playboy Award,” the “Mediban Nepuri Award,” and the “TV Tokyo Award” as well as “four awards,” expressed her enthusiasm by saying, “I will leave my mark on TV! I will leave my mark on TV!
Also, Tsukasa Arai, who had announced her graduation as a race ambassador last year, received the “Motor Sports Ambassador Award Honor Award,” which was specially set up for her. The legendary driver, who has supported more than 100 races so far, said, “I’m so proud to receive this award!
I was surprised to hear that it was an honorary award! I was surprised. I am very honored to receive such a wonderful crystal.
I am so honored to receive such a beautiful crystal,” he said. The race ambassadors attracted many visitors this year. We will keep an eye on them as they continue to be active in a variety of fields.
