Playback ’06] The girls who appeared in the worst child pornography in history, “Kansai Enkoso,” told their own “circumstances.

What did “FRIDAY” report 10, 20, or 30 years ago? In “Playback Friday,” we revisit the topics that were hot at the time. In this issue, we will look back at the January 27, 2006 issue, which was published 20 years ago, and discuss the scars left behind by the “back porn” scandal that resulted in more than 20 arrests! High school girls who appeared in “Kansai Enkoso” talk about “Sex and Money.
Kansai Enkoso” was an amateur porn series that suddenly appeared in the enthusiast market around 2000 and became very popular. The reason for the popularity of the series was that most of the girls who appeared in it were real junior high and high school girls, some of whom were elementary school students. The group that produced the series was caught in March 2005, and about 160 of them had been produced. FRIDAY” succeeded in contacting three of the girls who appeared in “Kansai Enkoso. The article is an interview with the girls (descriptions in parentheses are quotes from past articles, ages are as of the time).
Reasons for Engaging in Aid Giving,” as told by the girls
I don’t think it’s a bad thing at all. Just like getting a job, I do it because I need it to survive. I dropped out of high school and no decent company will hire me. I have to work part-time and earn what I don’t have with my body.
Eri (19, pseudonym, hereafter) laughs brightly as she says this. She once appeared in an illegal pornographic film called “Kansai Enkoso. Her parents later found out about her appearance and she left home, but she continues to do so while working part-time at a supermarket.
Eri attended a public high school in Osaka, but dropped out after one year. She was fed up with her mother, who drank alcohol from noon and brought men into the house, so she moved from one friend’s house to another. At first, she worked part-time at a convenience store and a liquor store, but since she could not make any money, she came up with the idea of earning money by selling her body. At first, he worked at a health club, but his age was discovered and he was fired.
In the sex trade, she would do whatever the customers asked her to do, and earned 30,000 yen a time. Some customers videotaped him, and it is believed that one of the videotapes was passed on to “Kansai Enko. In 2005, he learned that his videos were being sold when he received a call from the police.
He said, “The call from the police made my mom aware of it. I was unstable because I drank a lot, and I tried to kill myself once when I found out my daughter was doing it. The worst was my stepfather. They remarried when I was in junior high school, and he got a video from somewhere. He played it in front of me and said, ‘Let me do it, too.
As she says at the beginning of this article, she does not feel guilty about her dating life.
The motive was purely money.
In the case of Manami (20, pseudonym), a student at a private high school in Hyogo Prefecture, the “motive was purely money. Her boyfriend at the time was the head of an event circle, and she was in need of funds, so she began aiding him during her sophomore year of high school. At the time, she had only had sex with her boyfriend, but she sold her body two to three times a week on her way home from school.
Two or three months after she started giving aid, she had a customer who persistently demanded to be videotaped. When she was offered double the gratuity, Manami agreed on the condition that she would not broadcast the video to others. However, there was no way she could keep such a promise. Her appearance in the video spread throughout the school when a classmate happened to find the footage on the Internet. She dropped out of school. Having no place to stay at home, Manami moved to Tokyo last spring. She now earns 300,000 yen a month living off of her job as an aide-de-camp.
She says, “Even if I got a regular job, I would get scared that the video would get out. It’s easier to live in the world of aid work. Even if a client says to me, ‘You were in the video,’ I can just say, ‘You’re doing it, too,’ and it’s all over with.
Fumika (18, pseudonym), a current high school student, is even more carefree and lighthearted.
“I’ve only had one experience with a video. I really wanted to buy a Louis Vuitton bag, so I went to a dating site introduced by a friend and found a post that said, ‘You can film me for 100,000 yen. I was told that my face would be mosaicked in the video, and I said yes if I could get 100,000 yen. …… I regret it now, but I love sex so much that I still have a college student and an office worker friend in addition to my boyfriend (laughs).
Girls trying to make money by taking the easy way out. The customers buy the “works” of the companies that prey on these girls as an outlet for their desires. At first glance, this appears to be a win-win situation, but in some cases, such as the aforementioned Manami, the girls were forced to quit school and their lives changed, while others repeatedly cut their wrists or went to a mental health clinic after the filming. In the end, the girls were unilaterally exploited and consumed.
Spreading Widely via File-Exchanging Software
In the early 1990s, “leaked” pornography was popular. However, the graphic nature of amateur pornography using ordinary women eventually caught on and became popular. In the latter half of the 1990s, a new type of pornography emerged that took its cue from the “blue cella” stores, in which the filmmakers filmed themselves giving “aid” to women. One of the most popular was “Kansai Enkoso” (Kansai Enkoso).
The appeal of “aid-gang” films was the low age of the women who appeared in them, sometimes real junior high and high school girls, and sometimes elementary school students. In other words, it was child pornography.
The content of the films became more and more extreme, and the rapes became so hardcore that it is impossible to write about them here. Kansai Enkosei” also became more and more extreme as the series went on, and was called “the worst devilish series in history. As the article in this magazine states, it is believed that in many cases, the filmmakers deceived the viewers by saying, “We will put mosaic on it,” and in many cases, the films were released without the consent of the filmmakers themselves.
What triggered the exposure was a report received at a high school in Nara Prefecture in July 2004 that “one of your students is in a video. A man (41 years old at the time) who was the leader of the production group surfaced when he was caught on a bank security camera transferring appearance fees to a student, leading to the arrest of three members of the group.
The leader of the group was charged with assaulting a woman and violating the Child Welfare Law, and was sentenced in January 2006 to eight years in prison and a fine of 6 million yen by the district court and seven years in prison by the family court, for a total of 15 years.
The background of the spread of “Kansai Enjo-Kai” was the spread of high-capacity Internet connections and the popularity of file-exchange software such as Winny in the early ’00s. Using a system that allows unspecified users to directly exchange and share files via the Internet, many amateurs appeared who copied and sold videos and DVDs without permission. By the time “Kansai Engei” was a hot topic in the general media, sales for the production group seemed to have plummeted.
The Child Prostitution and Child Pornography Law, which was revised in 2004, made the exchange of child pornography between individuals a punishable offense, but it did not regulate the simple possession of child pornography not for the purpose of offering. Even if the producers could be arrested, it was difficult to find and crack down on sales between individuals.
