Compliments that made me happy during the photo shoot

Actor Rino Oshima (25) appears in the latest issue of FRIDAY. This is her second appearance in the magazine after an absence of about a year.

She said, ” When I appeared in FRIDAY in November 2024, it was my first “revival gravure” in a long time. Thankfully, I received a great response from fans saying, “I’ve been waiting for this! I received a great response from fans ,saying, “I’ ve been waiting for this !

Oshima’s latest gravure, which depicts a strong and graceful woman under the theme of “Queen,” can be seen in the latest issue of FRIDAY magazine. She is as beautiful as ever.

In body makeup, I used to train under the theme of ” fusion of AI and Yamato Nadeshiko,” which means the curvy beauty of an AI and the supple expression of a Yamato Nadeshiko. Recently, however, my awareness of this theme has changed a little.

During today’s photo shoot, I was complimented by the staff, who said, “It looks like a painting! That is exactly what I am aiming for now. I want to create a work that is not only sexy, but that people will want to display like a painting. So I was really happy when you said that.

Bringing personal items as gravure costumes

The highlight of the exhibition was Oshima’s personal belongings she wore as costumes.

In order to create the world view of a “queen,” a wide range of outfits were prepared for the shoot. I wanted to contribute as much as possible to the work, so I brought some of my own fashion accessories to the shoot. As I built up the styling in my head, I chose ribbons, chokers, hats, glasses, etc. that I thought I could use.

I guess it’s because of my job, but the boundary between my clothes and my outfits is not always clear to me. I usually think of my clothes in terms of “what I can wear in public,” so I naturally have more items on hand that can be used as outfits.

Interaction between Acting and Rotogravure

The fact that he balances his gravure and acting careers shows his high level of awareness in creating works of art.

Ifeel that studying facial expressions during photogravure shoots can also be useful in the acting field. I feel that the way I look at people and the way I behave are gradually being refined.

For me, gravure is the foundation of who I am. It has led me to a variety of other jobs. I feel that there is a good interaction between gravure and acting. I am very happy now to be working in both.

I will continue to work on “building a body that is always ready for the camera” and even if my acting career becomes even busier, I would like to continue doing gravure. …… as long as there is demand (laughs).

Rino Oshima’s photo shoot.

Compared to her gravure photo from a year ago, Rino’s shoulder-length bob has grown longer, giving her a more mature image.

One year ago, I wore my hair in a bobbed style to create a sporty image. I try not to fix my hair too much.

I don’t want people to see me in as many variations as possible , and I want people to see me in many different ways. My rule with my hair is that I don’t fix my image.

Oshima is now 25 years old.

I am currently 25 years old, and what are my hopes for the year 2026? ” During my 24th year, I was blessed with opportunities to star in dramas and appear in commercials, and had a lot of work experience in my hometown of Gunma, . At 25, I want to connect those opportunities to the next, and further improve as an actor.

And in gravure, I would like to continue to work hard to achieve my big goal of being on the cover of a magazine and also to fulfill my dream of publishing a paper photo book. I know that my fans are looking forward to it, so I will be happy if I can bring lots of good news.
