The film is based on the best-selling Korean novel of the same name by author Min Ji-hyun. It has been called a feminist version of the 2001 Japanese hit film My Sassy Girl, and when the Japanese translation was released in 2022, it quickly went into reprint and became a topic of discussion. Nagano plays a woman who becomes a feminist years after a breakup, triggered by certain events,” explained a film magazine writer.

On the official website of her agency, Nagano’s appearance with her long hair cut short for the role was showcased.

At the plaza, barriers had been set up for filming, and a large amount of equipment was installed. After a while, Nagano appeared, surrounded by multiple staff members, as described above. She wore a pink hat and stood alone in the center of the plaza.

To loosen her stiff body from the cold, she stretched her upper body side to side. Her expression was focused and sharp. She then proceeded to film scenes walking with co-star Taisho Kido (29).

“Last year, her inappropriate relationship with Kei Tanaka (41) was reported, leading to the termination of over ten commercials she had signed. Additionally, she withdrew from the NHK Taiga drama Toyotomi Brothers!, which began airing in January, raising concerns about her future activities. Her acting ability is unquestionably solid, and it is said that her character in this drama could be a perfect fit,” said the aforementioned writer.
