Galina Arsenkina has become an instant hit in Japan (AFLO)

Galina Arsenkina, the second player in the women’s curling team of the ROC (Russian Olympic Committee) at the Beijing Olympics, is rapidly gaining popularity in Japan. She plays the game wearing large, intellectual glasses, and is affectionately called “Megane-senpai.

Galina is 30 years old, born in June 1991, in Zelenograd, Russia. In fact, she was originally a figure skater.
