Dressed in a black coat and black-rimmed glasses, her feet stood out in pure white stockings and bright red high heels—a combination ordinary people could never pull off. In her left hand, she carried a handbag by the Italian luxury brand VALENTINO.
Passersby couldn’t help but do a double take—she was actress Kyoko Hasegawa (47).
“Hasekyo started her career in 1996 as an exclusive model for the women’s fashion magazine CanCam, and made her acting debut in the 2000 Fuji TV drama Love Chat. She rose to popularity appearing in many notable works, including Boku dake no Madonna (Fuji TV) and Oishii Proposal (TBS).
In her personal life, she married Shinichi Shindo (51), guitarist of the band Porno Graffitti, in 2008 and became a mother of two children, though they divorced in 2021,” said an entertainment reporter for a sports newspaper.
In recent years, Hasegawa has expanded her work, showing her big-sister side on Gūtan Nouveau 2 (Fuji TV) and posting stylish cooking videos on her YouTube channel. Even in her 40s, she continues to appear in cosmetics commercials and events, earning high support from women as a beauty icon.
Hasegawa was met in a dim alley near the popular Italian restaurant by a handsome gentleman with slicked-back hair reminiscent of Taizo Sugimura in a wilder version. Following his lead into the restaurant, the two enjoyed the exclusive, fully booked restaurant’s gourmet offerings for a full three hours.

“He is Mr. A, a company executive. Seven years younger than Hasegawa, he graduated from a prestigious private university via an escalator system from elementary school, joined a foreign-affiliated securities company, and while working in finance, founded an NPO addressing overseas poverty and food shortages. He’s an energetic man,” said an acquaintance of Mr. A.
About four years after becoming a single mother, Hasegawa appears to have found a new partner.
