Six junior groups will cease to exist this year…

On November 12, STARTO ENTERTAINMENT announced that the 16-member junior intra-group “Shonen Ninja” will end its group activities as of November 30. Fans are in shock.

The three junior groups “HiHi Jets,” “Bishonen,” and “7 MEN Samurai” effectively disbanded in February of this year. They and some members of the boy ninjas were brought together to form a new unit called ‘ACEes,’ ‘KEY TO LIT,’ and ‘B&ZAI. Furthermore, Kansai Junior’s “Lil Kansai” was also effectively disbanded on April 1, as they would concentrate on their individual activities.

Go! Go! kids,” a relatively new unit formed in May 2010, also terminated its group activities on July 24 of this year, and if the Shonen Ninjas are included, six junior groups will disappear this year.

It was recently learned that former Go!Go!kids member Koki Mimura (17), who left STARTO at the end of June 2012, will join a major entertainment agency, Stardust Promotion. Along with his transfer to Stardust, the release of “Mimura Koki Calendar 2026” (December 26) was also announced,

It’s too shocking that Koki Mimura belongs to Stardust.
Mimura, I didn’t expect you to join Stada!
Mimura, how did you get into Studebaker?
Mimura-kun, you’re a member of STADA? If he thinks he won’t be able to make his debut forever, he’ll be looking for a new path. ……

The response was overwhelmingly surprised.

Since there is no indication that Mimura has joined a group, it is assumed that he will continue to work as a solo artist for the time being.

On the other hand, in recent years, former juniors such as Rui Shiraiwa (28) of LAPONE Entertainment’s 11-member boy group “JO1” and Shogo Tajima (27) of “INI” have been active in a variety of boy groups.

Former junior Satoru Takahashi (27) also made his debut as a member of the first dance and vocal group “WATWING” from major company HORIPRO a few years after leaving the group. Takahashi has been expanding his activities, appearing in musicals as a solo performer, taking advantage of his exceptional singing and dancing skills.

Another former Junior member is Hideta Urano (28), a member of OWV, who was on the audition program “PRODUCE 101 JAPAN,” which produced the aforementioned JO1. Urano is a Tuesday regular (every other week) on the noon show “Poka Poka” (Fuji Television Network).

When Yuma Nakayama (31), a member of the former Johnny’s s office, appeared as a guest on-air on August 5 this year, Urano confessed that he had been a back-up dancer for Nakayama when he was with the office.

And YUMA of the global boy group “&TEAM,” which is scheduled to appear in the 76th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen this coming New Year’s Eve for the first time, is also said to have come from Kansai Junior. There was a time when clippings from idol magazines in which he appeared under his real name and videos of his TV appearances became the talk of the town on SNS. He is not pushing the “ex-junior” label, but only some of his fans are aware of him. ……

In the future, it is possible that the members of Shonen Ninja will leave the current STARTO company and transfer to a major office like Mimura, or debut in another boy group. In any case, we can only hope that the future of the 16 boy ninjas will be bright.
