<p> A Nissan Gloria, known as a &#8220;Tategro,&#8221; which was put on the market more than half a century ago, was driving in Tokyo in the autumn of Reiwa, 2022. Eiji Kotoge, 49, of &#8220;Baikingu&#8221; fame, was behind the wheel.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> He seemed to be looking for a parking lot and was wandering around the streets of Ebisu. Perhaps they were curious about the retro cars, or perhaps they were baby-boomer men staring at them from the sidewalks. After stopping their cars at several parking lots, they moved on foot to another parking lot and stared at the sign displaying the fees.</span></p>
<p> The parking lot he was staring at charged 550 yen for eight minutes. <span class="strongInContent">He looked at me as if to say, &#8220;What a price!</span> Koge entered a nearby 24-hour gym with a look on his face as if to say, &#8220;What a price! <p> He has six regular programs on terrestrial television and has been a judge on &#8220;King of Conte&#8221; (TBS) since 2009. Recently, his appearance on &#8220;Downtown Plus&#8221; (starting November 1) became a hot topic.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> Hitoshi Matsumoto (62) praised Koge, saying, &#8220;He is really funny. It is said that Koge was often invited to appear on &#8220;Wednesday&#8217;s Downtown&#8221; (TBS) because of Matsumoto&#8217;s recommendation. When Koge was offered the chance to appear on &#8220;Downtown Plus,&#8221; he immediately said, &#8220;I&#8217;ll do it,&#8221; despite his office&#8217;s reluctance,&#8221; said a veteran staff member at a key station.</span></p>
