<p> &#8211;How about Akusei Foods?</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent">Oishi</span>: Akasei Foods&#8217; strongest product is probably &#8220;Ippeichan.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent">Yamato:</span> I agree. Ippei-chan&#8221; was a cup ramen when the brand was launched in 1993. The cup yakisoba was introduced in 1995, but in the end, only the cup yakisoba remains today. This shows how much of a masterpiece it was.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent">Kanda</span> It is a long-seller that is celebrating its 30th anniversary, but compared to &#8220;Peyoung&#8221; and &#8220;U.F.O.,&#8221; it is a latecomer to the market. We tried to differentiate it and made it quite edgy, and it worked. The sauce is kneaded into the ultra-thin, curly noodles, and the pronounced mustard mayonnaise gives it a punchy flavor.</p>

<p><span class="strongInContent">Yamato</span> The quality of the noodles is also excellent, as they are known as the ″Meisei of Noodles. The industry calls it &#8220;aging,&#8221; but as time goes by, noodles lose their firmness and become shabby in texture.</p>
<p> At the time, manufacturers did not think too seriously about noodle aging, perhaps because of the image that many people eat yakisoba noodles in cups by shoveling them down with a gulp. However, Meisei Shokuhin developed noodles that did not lose their firmness and suppleness, and adopted them for &#8220;Ippei-chan. The result is a new type of cup yakisoba that can be eaten slowly and still taste good all the way through.</p>
<p> &#8211;How about the cup yakisoba from Toyo Suisan, which has a major chilled noodle staple, &#8220;Maruchan Yakisoba 3 servings&#8221;?</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent">Kanda</span>: &#8220;Maruchan Shomen Cup Yakisoba&#8221; (278 yen) is my first choice. It is a relatively new product, having been on the market for 19 years, but when I first tasted it, I was surprised that it had gone beyond the realm of instant noodles and approached the taste of a restaurant. It features non-fried noodles with a sticky, fresh texture, and it comes close to the taste of restaurant noodles with the inclusion of fried egg.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent">Yamato:</span> I recommend the &#8220;Nihon Uimaimon Fujinomiya Yakisoba&#8221; (292 yen), a faithful reproduction of the B-1 Grand Prix gold medal-winning local delicacy from Shizuoka. It uses square noodles, which is rare for yakisoba in a cup, and has the delicious flavor of Worcestershire sauce and onions, and the sardine shavings in the finish are truly delicious.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent">Oishi</span> &#8220;Ore no Shio&#8221; (254 yen) is my recommendation. Released in 1997, this was the first salt yakisoba in a cup. The boiling time was 3 minutes when it was first released, but it has been improved and shortened to 1 minute now. The product is packed with the flavor of seafood, such as kelp and scallops, and it is a perfect example of Toyo Suisan&#8217;s strength as a &#8220;fisheries company. I don&#8217;t think there is any other salted yakisoba that surpasses it.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent">Yamato:</span> Toyo Suisan also has the most cost-effective product, &#8220;Gotsusozakari Sauce Yakisoba. It has a large capacity of 130 g of noodles, and although it is openly priced, it can be bought for as low as 120 yen. It also comes with Kewpie mustard mayonnaise, and the price is so low that one would suspect a deficit. <br>
Other products include &#8220;Yakisoba Bento&#8221; (254 yen), which enjoys great popularity in Hokkaido, and &#8220;Yakisoba Bagooon&#8221; (254 yen), which is very popular in the Tohoku region. Although there is no absolute ace in the hole, one gets the impression of a lineup of talents.</p>

<p> &#8211;What about other manufacturers&#8217; excellent products?</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent">Oishi</span>: Seven Premium&#8217;s &#8220;Omori Sauce Yakisoba 163g&#8221; (192 yen), available only at Seven-Eleven, is my top recommendation. It is manufactured by Toyo Suisan. The sauce is similar to the chilled noodle &#8220;Maruchan Yakisoba for 3,&#8221; and the oil has a savory flavor as if it were stir-fried on an iron plate. The one-minute return of the water is reminiscent of &#8220;Ore no Shio,&#8221; the Chinese soup is reminiscent of &#8220;Yakisoba Bento&#8221; and &#8220;Bagon,&#8221; and the high cost performance is reminiscent of &#8220;Gotsuzakari. It is truly a product that brings together the best of Toyo Suisan.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent">Yamato:</span> Seven Premium is my recommendation, too. I have no words to add.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent">Kanda</span> I would like to recommend &#8220;Noodle Daisakasu Sauce Yakisoba&#8221; (198 yen), a Lawson limited edition by Meisei Shokuhin, which is a 3-star Lawson product. It has the same ultra-thin, chigiri noodles as &#8220;Ippei-chan,&#8221; but the sauce is not kneaded into the noodles, but instead is a powdered and liquid W-sauce. We feel the message is to savor the noodles and sauce without any small adjustments.</p>

<p><span class="strongInContent">Yamato</span>: The sauce is well balanced, and I think this is a gem where the sauce is genuinely delicious.</p>
<p> &#8211;Let&#8217;s come to the conclusion.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent">Oishi</span>: In my opinion, I would have to go with Seven Premium&#8217;s &#8220;Omori Sauce Yakisoba 163g&#8221;.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent">Yamato:</span> I was torn between this and &#8220;Nissin Yakisoba U.F.O. Bakumori Barrel,&#8221; but I&#8217;ll give my vote to Seven Premium. While most of other companies&#8217; PBs are 3 to 4 minutes of boiling water, it takes only 1 minute of boiling water. Both cosmetics and typa are high.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent">Kanda</span> I would recommend &#8220;Maruchan Shomen Cup Yakisoba&#8221; for its quality as yakisoba. However, I understand why you both rave about it. Seven Premium&#8217;s product differentiation and product planning are excellent, with the extra oil used to give the yakisoba a rich flavor, and the soup that comes with the yakisoba gives the yakisoba a contrasting taste and a great value for money.</p>
<p> The three wise men gave their own recommendations, and the discussion became heated, but the yakisoba is one that can be combined with a single sauce, even if the ingredients are not all in the same place. The &#8220;strongest cup yakisoba&#8221; was selected as Seven Premium&#8217;s &#8220;Omori Sauce Yakisoba 163g,&#8221; manufactured by Toyo Suisan.
