Korean Golf Beauty Wows Fans with Her Goddess Figure and Elegant Swing

Korean women’s professional golfer “Sexy Queen” Yoo Hyun-joo (31) participated in the K-FOOD Nolboo Famima Masters of the Korean Women’s (KLPGA) Tour, held until October 12, through a special invitation from the organizers.
It was her third appearance in a Division 1 regular tour since June. Making her first appearance in four months before golf fans, a large crowd followed her play. Yoo Hyun-joo, who always draws attention for her fashion sense, faced unfortunate rain on the first day. Still, the smiles she showed between shots captivated many fans. On the second day, as the rain lightened to a drizzle, she played in a form-fitting uniform that accentuated her figure. Each day, she thrilled the spectators with her beautiful play, but she missed the cut with a total of 8-over, tied for 88th place. This marked her third consecutive missed cut in the regular tour events she played this season.
Why is her performance struggling so much? However, looking at her individual stats, it’s not necessarily all bad.
Her fairway hit rate in this tournament was 78.57%. Over the two days of the qualifying rounds, she hit 22 out of 28 fairways off the tee. In other words, her driver was quite consistent. The problem lay in her greens-in-regulation rate, which stood at 63.89% over two days. Her iron shots lacked stability—especially on the par-3 holes, where her greens-in-regulation rate was just 50% (4 out of 8)—making it difficult to create scoring opportunities, which ultimately hurt her overall score.
Side by side with the legend who has 20 wins on the U.S. Tour
Currently, Yoo Hyun-joo mainly competes in the second-tier “Dream Tour,” but even there, she has faced a string of missed cuts and withdrawals. In a world where results mean everything, it’s easy to imagine the frustration she must be feeling as a touring pro. In the Korean tour, there are only a handful of active players still competing in their 30s. The longer the slump continues, the more the thought of stepping away from competition might cross her mind — yet Yoo Hyun-joo has never once hinted at retirement.
Before the start of this season, she stated, “I’m fine playing anywhere,” showing that she hadn’t lost her drive to continue challenging herself as a professional golfer. In fact, her popularity remains as strong as ever. Her fashion choices on the course always draw major attention, and many golf brands continue to feature her as their ambassador. She still has no shortage of sponsors. Her Instagram following is just under 400,000 — an outstanding figure among Korean women’s professional golfers.
In September of this year, she participated in a charity golf event held in Seoul. The event was organized to raise donations for refugees and orphans affected by war, and featured players such as Park In-bee (37), who has 20 wins on the U.S. Women’s Tour, and Ryu So-yeon (35), who has six. Yoo Hyun-joo stood shoulder to shoulder with these legendary players, who are still revered even after retirement. After the event, she commented:
“I was reminded once again that golf can bring joy to some people while also helping others.”
The occasion reaffirmed her wide-reaching fame. Even so, golf fans still hope to see her energize the sport through her results. Since turning pro in 2011, she has yet to capture a victory, but many wish to see Yoo Hyun-joo’s name shine once more with results worthy of her popularity.
