SUPER EIGHT’s Shingo Murakami Ties the Knot! Exclusive Look at His Younger Wife and Their Island Honeymoon Vibes
The multi-talented idol is now in his mid-40s, and has decided to mark 30 years in show business.

〈As I approach my 30th year in the entertainment industry, there have been ups and downs, but thankfully everything has come full circle, and I am pleased to announce my marriage.〉
Shingo Murakami (43), a member of the five-member group SUPER EIGHT, announced his marriage on the 14th. His agency, STARTO ENTERTAINMENT, posted his marriage announcement comment on its official website the same day. Among the current members, he is the second to marry, following Tadayoshi Ohkura (40), who tied the knot in February this year.
In his statement, Murakami revealed that his partner is a non-celebrity and, after weaving in references to his fellow members’ names to express his gratitude, declared, “I will continue to do my best so that everyone can keep enjoying my work. I would be happy if you continue to support me.” True to his Kansai roots, he concluded with a cheerful, “Ōkini, arigatō” (“Thank you very much”).
The marriage partner in question is the beauty who resembles Mitsuki Takahata (33), featured in FRIDAY’s August 8–15, 2025 double issue, which scooped their “Hokkaido & Okinawa vacation.” Let’s take another look back at that time.
A stunning beauty with fair skin and striking black hair
On July 20, the middle day of a three-day weekend, the arrival lobby at Haneda Airport’s Terminal 1 was bustling with travelers returning from domestic trips. A little after 10 p.m., a flight from Kushiro Airport arrived. Families and students who had spent the weekend in Hokkaido’s cool summer climate emerged from the gates, souvenirs in hand.
Among them was a particularly striking woman. She wore a long black dress with a daringly low neckline, her glossy black hair swaying in the breeze, and her porcelain-white skin standing out under the airport lights. She looked like a more exotic version of actress Mitsuki Takahata (33).
Just behind her followed a man in a bucket hat, glasses, and mask—none other than SUPER EIGHT’s Shingo Murakami (43).
“The taxi stand is over there!” the woman said, pointing ahead as the two chatted while walking together. Rather than a fresh new couple, they exuded the calm familiarity of a longtime married pair. When they reached the taxi area, the woman even helped Murakami take off his jacket, perhaps saying something like, “It’s hot—take it off.”
Their home is a luxury condominium with a rent of over 3 million yen.
Led by Ms. A, the two arrived at the taxi stand, waited for about five minutes to catch an empty cab, and headed straight back to a luxury apartment in Tokyo.
“She’s a woman in her late 20s, known as Ms. A, an ordinary (non-celebrity) person. I’ve heard they met through a show Shingo appeared on and began dating afterward. He’s had rumored relationships with celebrities like Erika Toda (37) and Ruriko Kojima (31), but now that he’s over 40, he seems drawn to more down-to-earth, family-oriented women.
They’re reportedly living together in his apartment, which costs between 3 and 4 million yen a month. Shingo is completely ‘Ms. A–first’ — he prioritizes her in both his social life and work,” said an acquaintance of Murakami.
In late June, Murakami and Ms. A were also spotted returning to Tokyo from Ishigaki Island. Murakami was dressed in a tropical style — T-shirt, shorts, and sandals — walking beside a stout gentleman wearing an “Orion Beer” T-shirt, who appeared to be an acquaintance. Walking slightly ahead was Ms. A, wearing a black camisole with a low neckline. That day, too, the couple caught a taxi and disappeared in the direction of their love nest.
Even after FRIDAY’s scoop, the two continued dating discreetly, and now, they have successfully tied the knot.
“After the FRIDAY scoop, Murakami seems to have made up his mind. Ms. A is also very supportive of the business ventures he’s been pursuing alongside his entertainment career — she’s truly his partner in every sense. He’s reportedly told those around him, ‘I’ll definitely make her happy,’” the acquaintance added.
Having found his life partner, Murakami is sure to become an even more super presence from here on out.

On the night of July 20, Murakami (center) returned to Tokyo from Kushiro, Hokkaido. Ms. A (right) walked a step ahead.

The two moved toward the taxi stand. While waiting for an empty cab, Ms. A helped Murakami organize his luggage.
