Yuki Mita thanks Rina Hashimoto, her senior at the office: “Mita-chan doesn’t just pull her breasts together…”
Riding a light truck is "too cute! The 27-year-old, who has been making headlines on TV and the Internet, was interviewed about her impressions of her first FRIDAY photo shoot in two and a half years!
Yuki Mita made his first appearance in “FRIDAY” at the end of March 2023, shortly after his debut.
I was new to everything, so I didn’t know how to make facial expressions or pose for the shoot,” she said. I think my facial expressions have become richer through the many photo shoots I have experienced in the past two and a half years! I have also learned how to pose by copying and studying the poses of other gravure personalities, so I think I have been able to grow little by little.
Mita’s agency is LIP, a prestigious gravure company. Rina Hashimoto, who celebrated the 10th anniversary of her debut this year, is one of the senior members of the agency whom Mita respects.
She said, “Hashimoto-san told me to be more conscious of my breasts, and advised me to show more of my side boobs instead of just bringing them to the front, because they are soft. I think I was able to show off my side boobs well in the outfit I wore for today’s shoot, especially in the pink outfit, so I love it!”
Mita is so famous in her hometown that she even gets honked at!
Mita is also a popular person who is nicknamed the “light truck girl. Her appearance driving a light truck in the “Light Truck Girls” segment of the variety show “Road Encounters” (CBC TV) has been attracting attention as “too cute! Her driving style is attracting attention as “too cute!
I first met a light truck when I was 18 years old, when I had just gotten my driver’s license and my grandfather gave me a hand-me-down. I’ve been driving it ever since without crashing it! I have two siblings, and my father made it a rule that all three of us, including me, must get a manual license. It was so difficult that I cried as I took it.
When I was 8 years old, I was in my hometown in Gifu Prefecture, and I rode my light truck to college and picked up my friends when I went out with them. I was so famous in my hometown that people would honk their horns if they saw my light truck. People would honk at me when they saw my light truck. (laughs).
The day I got a job as a “light truck girl,” I somehow got the buzz.
When she moved to Tokyo at the age of 23, she thought she would have to say goodbye to her light truck for a while.
I left the truck at my parents’ house and went on to pursue a career in gravure. One time I went back home and posted a picture of myself riding a manual light truck on TikTok, and for some reason it got a lot of buzz. From there, I got a job on a TV show (“Encounters on the Road”) in the Tokai region, which is where I am now. It’s not my truck that I’m riding in on the show, but it looks like a rental car.
I don’t drive a truck when I am in Tokyo, but I like to drive, so I rent a car and go driving in Tokyo and also go to places outside of Tokyo. Well, it is very difficult to drive in Tokyo. It took me a long time to get used to it, and I can’t tell you how many times I was honked at. People in Tokyo are scary. They are cold! (laughs).
We asked Mita about her dreams and goals for the year 2025.
I would like to be a gravure model and a light truck girl, and I would also like to create an environment where I can show my “talking self” more often! People often tell me that I look completely different when I talk than when I look at still pictures. I want to work harder on TV, SNS, and YouTube.
