<p> On July 16, Tsuchiya, who serves as a brand ambassador, appeared at the &#8220;New CM &amp; Summer Vacation Children&#8217;s 0 Yen Campaign Presentation&#8221; for the ramen chain &#8220;Dotonbori Kamiza&#8221; in Tokyo. In his opening remarks,</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> She said, &#8220;It has been quite a hot day, so I chose a cool kimono for today. I chose to wear an obi belt with an image of Kanza&#8217;s bright red color, which gives the kimono a daikon-like appearance,&#8221; she said.</span></p>
<p> I made an obi that looked like an oden (radish),&#8221; she said,</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> I would like to go to summer festivals and Bon Odori dances with my family this summer because I have a yukata that makes me feel Japanese.</span></p>
<p> Tsuchiya is known for her &#8216;yukata&#8217; (Japanese summer kimono). Speaking of Tsuchiya, her appearance in the October 2012 TBS Sunday drama &#8220;Diamonds in the Sea&#8221; attracted attention because of her &#8220;extreme weight loss,&#8221; and some people were concerned about her health.</p>

<p><span class="strongInContent"> Ms. Tsuchiya gave birth to her first child at the end of August 2011. Until just before that, she appeared on stage, and in 2012, she appeared in four movies in addition to the drama. In the midst of all this, she appeared in the drama and lost so much weight that even her cheekbones were visible, and viewers voiced their concern, &#8220;Are you okay? But the actress played by Ms. Tsuchiya was not so bad. However, since Ms. Tsuchiya&#8217;s character Yuriko was an A-bomb survivor, some viewers began to ask, &#8220;Wasn&#8217;t she just trying to make up for her role? (TV magazine writer).</span></p>

<p> Tsuchiya has been working hard without taking a break since then, and in May she appeared in a two-month long stage production of &#8220;Macbeth,&#8221; which she has just finished. Tsuchiya, however, showed no signs of her &#8220;super-skinny&#8221; days and had a healthy smile on her face from start to finish. Still, perhaps the stage was too much for her, she sat down on a chair prepared for her after her opening remarks. When asked by the host about the ramen at Kanza,</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> I would call it the ramen of destiny. I think there is such a comforting ramen to eat. I felt again that it is delicious and gentle, and that it is a ramen that embraces people&#8217;s hearts.</span></p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> The day after the commercial was filmed, I was on stage, so I was able to challenge the stage after having eaten ramen through the commercial.</span></p>

 On July 16, Tao Tsuchiya appeared in a yukata at an event held at a ramen chain. Last year, there were concerns that she had lost a lot of weight, but after three months of stage performances, she showed us that she is in good health.

Tao Tsuchiya completely dispels the “reports” that she has lost a lot of weight by wearing a yukata (light cotton kimono).
