Nao Appears in Futako-Tamagawa with Blonde Hair and a Red Suit, Flanked by Bodyguards

A striking woman with short blonde hair and a vivid red suit appeared at a bustling weekend shopping mall—none other than actress Nao (30), flanked on both sides by two visibly muscular foreign bodyguards.

This eye-catching scene took place around midday on May 31 at Futako-Tamagawa Rise, a large shopping complex in Setagaya, Tokyo, where the “Comfortable Living Festa” was being held. Nao was the special guest of the event.

“The festival is organized by a women’s fashion magazine. Each year, they invite a special guest for a talk show on the main stage, and this time it was Nao,” said one fan at the event.

“Since it was announced in advance, many fans had gathered in the area. But the presence of the bodyguards was so intense—it was like the parting of the Red Sea as the crowd split in two to make way for them (laughs). Nao seemed a bit shy, even covering part of her face with her left hand.”

Nao recently won the “Newcomer Award” at the 33rd Hashida Awards and first revealed her short blonde hairstyle at the May 10 ceremony. While she didn’t explain the makeover at the time, she finally addressed it at this event.

After discussing her starring role in the WOWOW drama Enjiya and the self-drawn illustrations posted on her official website “Nao OFFICIAL WEB,” which launched in February, she added:

“This hairstyle is for a project that hasn’t been publicly announced yet.”

Cheers erupted from the packed crowd—shouting, “So cute!” and “It really suits you!”

After the talk show, Nao once again departed the venue surrounded by her towering bodyguards. Perhaps their appearance is tied to the upcoming, undisclosed project she hinted at.
