With the affair rumors involving Kei Tanaka affecting her career, Mei Nagano is also linked to Kim Mu-jun, who is embroiled in a cheating scandal.

The cryptic words posted on Instagram for her birthday

Is this a further blow to Mei Nagano, who is already on the verge of losing everything?

Actress Mei Nagano (25) has been embroiled in a cheating scandal with Kim Mu-jun (27), a South Korean actor. On May 24, Kim updated his Instagram for the first time in three months.

Kim and Nagano appeared together in the Sunday drama “Caster” (TBS), and since the “cheating” rumors about Nagano hosting both Kim and Kei Tanaka (40) at her home on consecutive nights, this was the first time Kim had spoken out.

The Instagram post featured a photo of Kim gazing into the distance in a bamboo grove. The caption, written in Korean, read:

“Don’t lie. It’s already half over. Mu-jun, happy birthday.”

May 24 was Kim’s 27th birthday. While multiple photos were shared, the one with the saddest expression from Kim topped the post. Starting the caption with “Don’t lie” also felt out of place for a birthday post.

“Nagano’s agency has denied reports that she was in a relationship with Kim, claiming that her mother was at home when Kim stayed over. They also said the same when Tanaka stayed over. However, there aren’t many people who completely believe this explanation. Photos showing Tanaka and Nagano very close, even holding hands, were published by Bunshun. The behavior with a married man at her home with her mother there is inappropriate, and perhaps the person most shocked by this is Kim himself,” said a reporter from a sports newspaper.

Kim’s agency has stated that he and Nagano are just close colleagues. However, the fact that Kim posted it normally, rather than through a 24-hour story, seems to suggest a stronger intention behind his words.

On the broadcast on the 25th, only the credits were restored

Meanwhile, something unusual has occurred in the drama Caster. In this drama, Nagano plays the role of the chief director of “News Gate,” Saki Kubo Hana, and Kim portrays the assistant director, Choi Jae-sung.

However, after the report about the affair with Nagano, Kim did not appear in episodes 5 and 6, and his name was also absent from the drama’s credits. But in the broadcast on the 25th, while he didn’t appear in the main segment, his name was added back to the credits. Could it be that the drama team, taking Nagano’s relationship with Kim into account, decided to edit him out, only to reinsert his name in the credits?

When Kim posted the message “Half is over,” was he referring to the drama, his career, or perhaps his relationship with Nagano?

We reached out to Kim’s agency to inquire about the meaning behind the “Don’t lie, half is over” post, but did not receive a response by the deadline.

“Although we don’t know exactly what Kim is dealing with, if he’s harboring dissatisfaction with both his agency and Nagano’s side, and is angry enough to say ‘Don’t lie,’ there’s a chance his bomb could explode at any moment. If Kim found out about Nagano and Tanaka’s relationship after spending the night with her, and if his career was suddenly affected without him knowing, it’s not surprising that frustrations would build up. Kim could become the most dangerous presence for Nagano.” (Wide-show insider)

The question remains: will Kim eventually speak out about all of this?
