Masayuki Kakefu — Joined the Hanshin Tigers in 1974 as a 6th-round draft pick. Established an era as the team’s immovable cleanup hitter, then retired from playing in 1988. Currently active as a baseball commentator and TV personality. In October of last year, he released a book focused on batting technique titled Kakefu’s Hitting Theory.
