Natsu Ando Spotted Riding Rare Limited-Edition Harley in City Avoids Speeding and Weaving

“If I had an accident with my current Harley.”

The low, distinctive rumble of a Harley-Davidson echoed as Ando Natsu (44) from the comedy duo Maple Chogokin sat astride her bike.

Around 4 p.m. in early May, she was spotted on Hibiya Street (Chiyoda Ward), waiting at an intersection to merge onto the road. That day, Ando had appeared on Nippon Broadcasting System’s radio program “Knights The Radio Show” and was apparently heading home on her beloved Harley.

“Ando has been fascinated with motorcycles since she saw the anime ‘AKIRA’ in fourth grade, especially the bike ridden by the antagonist Joker. She has been riding since she was 16. Her current partner is a limited edition Harley-Davidson ‘Fat Boy 114 Anniversary X’ purchased in 2019, one of only 900 worldwide. It’s the same model Arnold Schwarzenegger (77) rode in the movie ‘Terminator 2.’

It’s the 115th anniversary model of Harley-Davidson. She mostly uses this bike to get around,” said a variety show production insider.

In an interview with GetNaviweb (published August 2024), Ando spoke about her love for Harley:

“I don’t go too far. I don’t want to get into accidents. If I ever crash with this Harley, I think I’ll just stop riding motorcycles altogether. So I don’t speed and I don’t weave through traffic.”

On “Knights The Radio Show,” she mentioned the announcement made the day before that the group Arashi would disband on May 31 next year. As a fan of Sho Sakurai (43), she shared stories about appearing on the group’s show “VS Arashi” (Fuji TV, ended December 2020). Her partner Kazureza (40) is also a fan of Sakurai, and she warmly recalled how they “competed” for Sakurai’s attention back then.

Though she got a bit passionate about the show, her driving was calm and collected. When merging onto Hibiya Street, she carefully checked both ways and slowly followed the car ahead.
