Airu Ikumi makes a surprise appearance at the “TOKYO MER the Movie” event with the real Super Rangers looking on.

She was a regular MER fan.
Airu Ikumi, 23, aka “Meru,” is walking around waving her hands as she is cheered on by the large crowd.
On April 30, an event was held at the Nihonmaru Memorial Park in Minato Mirai, Yokohama, to display the medical vehicles used in the July 2009 TBS Sunday theater productions “TOKYO MER” and “TOKYO MER: Running Emergency Room, Nankai Mission” (opening August 1). The event was crowded with many people as it was during Golden Week.
Then, from 4:30 p.m., the “National Deployment Ceremony” of the same theater version was held in the arena, attracting more than 600 spectators as a surprise guest was to make an appearance.
After a while, Meruru and Mahiro Takasugi (28), dressed as paramedics, appeared in front of a line of real Super Rangers from the Yokohama Fire Department.
There wasn’t much chaos, but there were loud cheers and young women and girls rushed up to Meruru. Meruru looked a little surprised, but she responded to the cheers by waving her hands,” said an audience member.
This medical drama depicts the activities of paramedics who rush to the scene of serious accidents, disasters, and incidents in Tokyo. The drama depicts the activities and conflicts of young doctors, led by Ryohei Suzuki (42), who plays Kota Kitami, a full-time team doctor of “TOKYO MER” (Tokyo Mobile Emergency Room), a professional team of paramedics, and achieved an average viewer rating of 13.6%.
The drama has become a series, with specials and a spin-off broadcast for distribution.’ The film version of the same name, released in April 2011, was a blockbuster hit, grossing 4.53 billion yen at the box office. This sequel to the film version marks the first appearance of Meruru and Takasugi in the series, and they were very excited about it at the event,” said a sports newspaper reporter.
Meruru, who plays the role of MER member Aozora Chika, said, “I am very happy to be able to share the goodness of MER with everyone,
I hope I can share the goodness of MER with you all. I hope we can share the goodness of MER with everyone.
She then greeted the audience. When asked what her impression was when she was chosen to appear in the drama, she replied, “As a regular MER fan, I am very excited about the drama,
I had been watching the drama as a regular MER fan and viewer, so I was surprised at the news. I remember I was very nervous when I entered the scene because I was going to challenge myself in my first medical drama.
I remember how nervous I was when I started working on the film. Although the talk show lasted less than 30 minutes, it seemed to be a great event for the audience. We look forward to seeing Meruru’s performance.
