Kohto Wakai and I-Cup Gravure Idol Sleepover Date Update After Love Report

This year, the momentum of the three-member rock band Mrs. GREEN APPLE (hereafter Mrs.) shows no signs of stopping.

In early March this year, our magazine caught wind of a romantic relationship between guitarist Hiroto Wakai (28) and an I-cup gravure idol. Based on an article published on March 19, 2025, we revisit the details.

With a woman who has a model-like stunning figure

At the end of 2024, the three-member rock band Mrs. GREEN APPLE (hereafter Mrs.) won the Grand Prize at the Japan Record Awards for the second consecutive year, and they are currently the hottest band around. Their private lives have remained a mystery—until now.

On a certain Saturday in early March 2025, as forecasted, snow began falling in Tokyo from the evening. Around 10:30 p.m., when the gently falling snow was starting to turn into rain, a taxi stopped in front of a stylish luxury condominium in central Tokyo, and a woman stepped out. With glossy long black hair and slender legs peeking out from her boots, she had a model-like figure. Even in the darkness, the silhouette of her chest stood out quite distinctively. The beautiful woman confidently walked into the condominium and did not reappear until the following morning.

The resident of the apartment she visited is Kohto Wakai, the guitarist of Mrs. Despite his busy schedule, Wakai was enjoying a sleepover date at home.

Shortly after 10 a.m. the next morning, a taxi stopped at the entrance of Wakai’s condominium. The same beautiful woman from the previous night appeared at the main entrance, expressionless, got into the taxi, and left. A few hours later, around 2 p.m., another taxi arrived, and Wakai left to head to work.

They were together even on Christmas Eve

The beautiful woman whose silhouette stood out even in the darkness is Ichika Miri (26), currently active as a gravure idol. Using her “I-cup bust” as her trademark, she won the Golden Glamour Award at the Gravure of the Year 2022.

“Miri was originally such a big fan of Mrs. that she even joined their fan club. Around autumn 2024, she sent a direct message on social media. This led to them meeting, and they quickly hit it off. She would visit Wakai’s apartment whenever he was available, and they even spent Christmas Eve together, deepening their relationship,” said a music industry insider.

As is well known, Mrs. has an extremely busy schedule. In February alone, they attended the Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, performed their first two-day live show in South Korea, and participated in Gucci’s fall/winter collection event in Milan, Italy, among other overseas travels. Meanwhile, on the day FRIDAY witnessed their sleepover date, Mirii was busy all morning at a photo shoot in Tokyo. After finishing, she headed straight to Wakai’s apartment on a cold night of snow and rain.

“They always meet at Wakai’s home—no dates out in public at all. Sometimes they meet once a week, and even when Wakai is busy with live shows or recording, they meet about once every two weeks at his place. On days they can’t meet, they keep in touch through video calls,” the insider added.

Curious about their relationship, FRIDAY sent an inquiry to Wakai’s agency but received no response by the deadline.

Kohto Wakai’s fans have a positive attitude

After our report, various reactions spread across social media and the internet. Since Kohto Wakai had often revealed that celebrities like Yui Yokoyama (32), Ai Hashimoto (29), and Ai Shinozaki (33) were his types, many comments such as “Now we clearly know his type,” “He obviously likes her,” and “Love is freedom” appeared. Overall, fans seem to have accepted the news positively.

“However, there are quite a few critical opinions directed at Mirii. Her fans seem shocked and have posted comments like ‘I’m quitting as a fan’ and ‘Goodbye,’” said a sports newspaper reporter.

Despite this, Mirii appears completely unfazed by public reactions. Five days after our first report on March 12, she posted photos from a shoot in Okinawa on her Instagram. Along with bikini pictures, she wrote:

“I didn’t have time for sightseeing, but I thoroughly enjoyed Okinawan cuisine — everything was delicious. I was happy.”

On the other hand, on April 17, Wakai updated his Instagram with an off-shot from his April 14 appearance on CDTV Live! Live! (TBS), posting a photo sticking his tongue out. Fans praised him with comments like “Too handsome” and “Your visuals are getting cooler and cooler.” This likely reflects that his private life is fulfilling.

Mrs. GREEN APPLE held a press conference at Tokyo Disneyland on April 23 and announced they will produce theme songs for two attractions at the summer special event held from July 2 to September 15. It looks like they will continue to lead the music world this year as well.
