Ex-Cabaret Worker Cuts Off Lover’s Finger and Nipple in Bizarre Cohabitation

Saki Sato (23), a defendant residing in Osaka City’s Kita Ward, was arrested on assault charges after allegedly severing the left ring finger of her boyfriend. She was indicted on April 21.

“In January of this year, Sato called the police to report trouble with breaking up with my boyfriend. Police officers from the Osaka Prefecture Sonezaki Station rushed to her apartment. When officers spoke to the man in his twenties at the scene, he explained, ‘We had an argument, and she hit me several times. She also cut my left ring finger.’ A glass bottle containing the severed finger was found in the refrigerator. The man explained, ‘She suspected me of cheating, and to prevent me from marrying another woman, she cut off my ring finger.'” (National newspaper reporter)

The victim, who was reportedly under Sato’s control, first met her about two years ago.

“The victim, who was a high school student at the time, saw Sato’s SNS while she worked at a famous cabaret club in Osaka and fell for her at first sight. After persistently pursuing her, they started dating in May of the previous year, and in July, they began living together at Sato’s apartment.” (Same source)

Two months after they started living together, on September 30, Sato proposed something to the man.

The details of the crime were unusual

“She said, ‘They say nipples regenerate even if they are cut off. Try it once.’ The victim, who was at her mercy, accepted the suggestion without resistance. Sato took scissors and cut off the man’s left nipple.

Two weeks later, when Sato found an unknown phone number in the man’s smartphone, he became enraged and declared, ‘Maybe he’s cheating on me.’ He bought a 40cm axe online and at around 4:45 pm on October 19th, he amputated the victim’s left ring finger above the first joint, muttering, ‘I’m going to cut off your ring finger so you’ll never be able to fall in love with another woman again.'” (investigative source)

The phone confiscated from Sato had images of the victim sitting on his knees, with a look of agony on his face, blood flowing from his left nipple, and his severed ring finger.

“On the day the police were notified, the victim had been hit unilaterally on the right side of his face and around his nose. Sato has now been arrested three times on suspicion of assault, having cut off his nipple and ring finger, and now for this latest assault. When questioned by police, he has denied the charges, saying, ‘The man cut off his ring finger himself.'” (ibid.)

On the website of the cabaret club where Sato worked, it was stated that her ideal type of man was someone who listens to everything she says.
