Suzu Hirose’s “fashionable blue jacket” gets rave reviews!
Actress Suzu Hirose’s “too cute in a lixue and working woman” is the talk of the town, and she will appear in a Shiseido commercial to be aired on January 23.
The commercial is titled “Beauty means wishing happiness to others. The commercial will be aired nationwide in 60 seconds, 30 seconds, and 15 seconds.
According to a press release from Shiseido, the commercial “expresses the company’s 150-year history and the potential of beauty for the future by paying homage to the company’s commercials that symbolized the era of that time. The song is a cover of the 1978 “Bénéfique Glacie” campaign song, “Kimi no Hitomi wa 10000 Volt” (lyrics: Shinji Tanimura, music: Takao Horiuchi), which was a big hit at the time, by musician Yoshiho Nakamura.
In addition to Hirose, the cast of the commercial includes popular Japanese actresses such as Eliza Ikeda, Yuriko Ishida, Nana Komatsu, Hana Kondo, Masami Nagasawa, and Mihari Maeda.
In the 60-second version of the commercial, Hirose appears twice, the first time as a job-hunting student who is about to have a remote interview. In the first one, she closes the compact with one hand, takes a deep breath, and stares into the mirror, quietly getting ready for the interview.
The second image shows her working in a creative office, with colorful cloths and other materials hung around the office. The blue jacket with collar is very stylish. Fans who have seen this have been singing its praises, especially on SNS.
Hirose said about the commercial, “Congratulations on the 150th anniversary of Shiseido. I am truly honored to be able to celebrate this major milestone with you. Although the situation is still very difficult, I wish for further development and success for everyone.
I’m looking forward to seeing the future Hirose, who will create an era together with Shiseido!
