Tall Tachibana stood out in the crowd

Standing tall at a Harajuku intersection…

Harajuku, Tokyo, in late March, when the area was crowded with inbound visitors and young people. A car pulled up at an intersection in the late afternoon as passersby came and went. Dashing out of the car was Kenchi Tachibana (45) of “EXILE THE SECOND.

I was surprised to see him suddenly appear in Harajuku with his bare face, without wearing a mask or sunglasses. However, there were so many foreign customers that hardly anyone noticed Mr. Tachibana” (passerby).

In 2004, Tachibana was invited by her friend AKIRA (43) to be a back dancer in an EXILE performance. She was approached by Toshio Matsumoto (MATSU, 49), whom she met at this time, and began working as an employee of “LDH JAPAN. Later, in ’07, he joined “J Soul Brothers 2nd Generation” and began his career as a performer in earnest.

When he got out of the car, he looked around.

Tachibana specializes in a dance called “Poppin,” which is characterized by “hits” and “waves,” which are movements like waves, and he is known for his strength and flexibility. Tachibana is well known for her strength and suppleness. Since 2011, Tachibana has also been involved in activities related to social contribution and regional development as a social innovation officer of LDH, and actively participates in events and lectures held in various regions.

In the movie “Step Out Ni Ni Ni no Niraikanai,” released in March of this year, he co-starred with actress Yukie Nakama (45) and attracted a lot of attention.

In the film, Tachibana plays the role of a young boy who tries to make his dream come true through dance in Okinawa. In this film, Tachibana plays the role of HIROKI, a music producer who holds the key to the story. The entire film was shot in Okinawa, and all the actors are from Okinawa. The reason why Tachibana was asked to play the role in such a film is because Director Yukihiko Tsutsumi wanted a cast member who can dance well and also act,” said a staff member of a film production company.

Perhaps Tachibana was spending some time in Harajuku to refresh herself in the midst of her busy schedule.
