Former Morning Musume Member Koharu Kusumi Spotted on Luxury Date with Elite Financial Professional

The girl who impressed Tsunku♂ (56) has now found love as an adult.

In early April, around 9 PM on a weekend night, a stunning beauty caught the attention of everyone around her as she dined with a man at a high-end ethnic restaurant in Tokyo, where the average meal cost over 10,000 yen. About an hour after entering, the woman emerged from the restaurant, stylishly dressed in a beige voluminous coat and a black dress. She walked intimately with the man next to her. With her fair skin and outstanding figure, the woman was Koharu Kusumi (32), a former member of Morning Musume and now an actress.

“Koharu joined ‘Morning Musume’ in 2005 at just 12 years old, the youngest member at the time, and made her solo debut the following year. She was praised by producer Tsunku♂ as a miracle-level child and gained popularity as the group’s ace. However, after announcing her graduation from the group in 2009, she left her agency in November 2016. Since then, she has continued to work independently, appearing in boat race broadcasts and radio shows in her hometown of Niigata” (TV network insider).

Her turning point came in April 2017.

“She moved to Oscar Promotion, the agency representing actresses like Aya Ueto (39) and Emi Takei (31). She is also currently appearing in ‘Jofu – Josei ni ×××× tte Hitsuyou desu ka?’ on TV Tokyo, and her career as an actress seems to be progressing smoothly” (same insider).

After dinner, the couple tried to catch a taxi, but it was difficult to get one, and light rain began to fall. The man urged Koharu to take shelter under the eaves of a nearby building, and once they managed to catch a taxi, she quickly got in. They later arrived at the carport of a high-end tower apartment in Tokyo, where they entered the building side by side.

The man was an elite salaryman working for a top foreign-affiliated company. After graduating from Morning Musume, Koharu Kusumi continued to walk the path of success.
