<h2><b>Traffic restrictions were also in place around the area</b></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">On the morning of April 10th, around 10 investigators in suits entered the white house one by one while investigators wearing vests labeled Shizuoka Prefectural Police stood by with stern expressions.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Shizuoka Prefectural Police conducted a search of Ryoko Hirosue&#8217;s (44) residence. On April 8th, after causing a rear-end collision, Hirosue was arrested on the spot for assault after she reportedly panicked at the hospital, kicking and scratching a nurse.</span></p>
<p><b>“The charge during the search was dangerous driving causing injury. Red cones were placed on the road near Hirosue&#8217;s home, and traffic restrictions caused a stir in the quiet residential area,” </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">said a reporter at the scene.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The house search ended after about an hour and a half. The investigators loaded the blue plastic cases containing the seized items into a police vehicle and left.</span></p>
<p><b>“In a preliminary drug test, no illegal substances were detected. Moving forward, a full analysis will be conducted, and the cause of the accident will be investigated. During her interrogation, the suspect, Ryoko Hirosue, fell into a state of panic and was temporarily placed in a protective room, typically used for individuals who may pose a danger to others. It is unusual for a woman to be placed in such a room,”</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> said a local newspaper reporter.</span></p>

<h2><b>She cheerfully greeted me with “Hello!”</b></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The sudden arrest and subsequent search of the house have left the nearby residents bewildered. A woman living near Hirosue&#8217;s residence shares her thoughts.</span></p>
<p><b>&#8220;I didn&#8217;t have a close relationship with her. But I once saw her chatting with some of the other moms in front of the school where her child goes. Even though she was lightly made up, she had this aura about her, and I thought, &#8216;She&#8217;s truly a celebrity.'&#8221;</b></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It was also noted that she had an unpretentious and approachable side.</span></p>
<p><b>&#8220;Even though we weren&#8217;t that close, she would always greet me with a friendly &#8216;Hello!&#8217; when I said hello to her. About a month ago, I ran into her while I was out walking my dog around 7 a.m. She was heading out for a run, wearing a cap and training gear. When I greeted her, she again cheerfully responded with &#8216;Hello!&#8217; There was nothing unusual about her at that time.&#8221;</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> (a nearby resident)</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Shizuoka District Prosecutor&#8217;s Office has filed a request for detention with the court, and her detention has been approved until the 19th. The cause of the rear-end accident remains unclear, and attention is focused on the outcome of the investigation.</span></p>
