<h2>Threw a champagne glass at a female employee</h2>
There has been some commotion around Madam Dewi (85).
On February 12, she established a political group called the 12 (Wan-Nyan) Peace Party, which focuses on pet welfare, including dogs and cats. Madam Dewi, who became the party leader, declared at a press conference:
&#8220;As a culmination of my life, I will make a statement in the political world.&#8221;
She also announced her candidacy for the House of Councillors election this summer, running on a proportional representation ticket. However, behind this, Madam Dewi is said to have been involved in a scandal.
&#8220;I heard that, in mid-February, Madam Dewi assaulted a female employee of her personal office,&#8221; reveals an entertainment production executive.
&#8220;At a dinner party held at a restaurant, Madam Dewi allegedly threw a champagne glass at the female employee. Apparently, this employee was opposed to Madam Dewi running in the House of Councillors election. She must have gotten quite angry. The female employee consulted with the police and reportedly filed a damage report,&#8221; said the entertainment executive.
Amidst this turmoil, Madam Dewi was seen at the Shibuya Police Station around 1:30 p.m. on March 22. She was alone in the backseat of what appeared to be a police vehicle and entered the station.

<h2>A thorough interrogation lasting five hours</h2>
Madam Dewi was seen again after 6:30 p.m. When the same vehicle came out from the basement of the Shibuya Police Station, Madam Dewi was sitting alone in the backseat. When a Friday Digital reporter asked her about the assault on the female employee, she did not look at them and drove off.
&#8220;The police reportedly questioned her voluntarily on this day. They will proceed with the investigation carefully and decide whether to forward the case for prosecution. Typically, interrogations last 1 to 2 hours, but within 5 hours, it seems they conducted a very thorough inquiry. If she is forwarded for prosecution and indicted, it will significantly impact the House of Councillors election and the future of the new party,&#8221; said a reporter from a TV station’s news department.
The day after the questioning, Madam Dewi was approached for an interview in front of her house.
&#8211;Is it true that you assaulted the female employee?
&#8220;No, that&#8217;s not true.&#8221;
&#8211;You were questioned at the Shibuya Police Station on the 22nd. What did you talk about?
&#8220;I can&#8217;t discuss that. I&#8217;m sorry.&#8221;
After saying that, she entered her house.
When I contacted her personal office again, they replied, &#8220;We will have someone get back to you,&#8221; but even after two days, there was no response.
At 85 years old, Madam Dewi has taken on the role of party leader and expressed her desire to run in the House of Councillors election. Attention is focused on the future of the investigation.
