<p> One evening in early March, when the temperature soared to 15°C, a beautiful woman was seen in a quiet residential area in Tokyo. She was dressed in a black blouson and white pants, and was walking her dog, actress Rin Takanashi (36).</p>

<p> This year marks the 20th anniversary of Takanashi&#8217;s debut, but in fact, it took her a long time to make her breakthrough.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> In 2005, she debuted as a member of the idol group &#8220;Pink Jam Princess,&#8221; and after modeling for the cover of a travel magazine, in 2001 she starred in her first drama series, &#8220;After School Groove&#8221; (TBS).</span></p>

She and Yoshitaka are so close that they profess to be &#8220;best friends,&#8221; often drinking together and going back and forth to each other&#8217;s homes,&#8221; says an entertainment reporter for a sports newspaper.</span></p>
<p> In 2006, Takanashi married Tomoaki Makino (37), a former member of Japan&#8217;s national soccer team, and they were together for one year and eight months before they made the goal line.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> They met when Makino happened to be at an izakaya (Japanese-style pub) that Takanashi frequented. At first, when Makino invited him to dinner, he refused because he was busy with work, but he was overcome with enthusiasm and they finally started to meet together.&#8217; Takanashi made a surprise appearance on the pitch at Makino&#8217;s retirement match in 23 years, which became a topic of conversation. They are still a loving couple in their eighth year of marriage.</span></p>

<p> Drama production staff members believe that Takanashi will make even greater strides as an actress this year.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> She has been chosen to be the heroine in the drama &#8220;Musashino Rinkyoku&#8221; (TV Asahi) in the April season. With this work, she has been chosen to play the role of Yoshiki Shomon (a member of the &#8220;Ae! group&#8217; actor Yoshinori Shomon (28) plays the role of a ballet instructor 10 years older than the main character, whom the main character has feelings for. He is very enthusiastic about the role, cutting his long hair into a bob for the role. The staff of the drama&#8217;s production company is trying to ease the tension of Shomon, who is playing the lead in a drama series for the first time, by chatting with her on the set in a friendly manner.</span></p>
