TV Asahi has demoted Takahide Tomoyori, aka “NasD,” who was so popular that the director’s own nickname became the name of the program. ……

Nas D, whose contribution to the station was unbelievable.

A charismatic director disappeared without a moment’s notice.

On March 19, TV Asahi announced that it had demoted an executive director (50) of the 2nd Production Department of the Contents Organization Bureau for power harassment of staff and inappropriate use of company expenses.

The man is Takahide Tomoyori, a.k.a. “NasD,” who is in charge of “NasD Great Adventure TV” and also appears on the show. The program’s broadcast has been terminated, and its related website and SNS have been “erased” without a trace.

What does NasD mean to a TV person?

It is a very rare case for an employee to have a regular program. The fact that the program does not require a celebrity as the main star saves on production costs, and Nasdaq’s contribution to the program is not insignificant. In the first place, the fact that a 50 year old employee is still working as a director is in itself very rare. Usually it is an annual that he/she becomes a chief producer or a general manager.

He is so unconventional that he has even starred as a director and producer, and is married to a popular TV personality at the time. On the other hand, such charismatic individuals often become the “king of nakedness” within the company. It is malicious that he was harassing them in an outside editorial office, where he is not easily seen.

In addition, from 2007 to January of this year, he misappropriated a total of approximately 5,170,000 yen by billing the company for personal dinners and other expenses.

When TV Asahi announced these facts, people on SNS and other social networking sites started to comment.

“They are too soft on their own people to just demote them.

If other stations had caused the same disturbance, he would have been fired without a doubt.

TV Asahi’s response was criticized.

After resigning, he joined a major entertainment agency.

In January of this year, Asahi Broadcasting Corporation announced the resignation of the station’s director under his own name for improperly receiving approximately 1.16 million yen in entertainment expenses.

Also in ’23, a male manager in his 40s at Yomiuri Television, an affiliate of NTV, was dismissed on disciplinary grounds after it was announced that he had improperly received a total of 13.83 million yen as program production expenses. Since he has the intention to repay the money, no criminal charges will be filed.

The man gave receipts for his own meals and drinks to an outside production company hired for his music program, had the company charge Yomiuri TV a padded bill under the guise of “additional production expenses,” and received a total of 8.77 million yen in cash as kickbacks. In addition, the company also claimed a total of 5.06 million yen in unauthorized charges, including unaccounted-for “pooled funds.

A Yomiuri TV program official revealed, “This man is also a good TV man.

The man was also an excellent TV man. After a certain point, the use of expenses became very strict within the company, and he could only spend a very small amount of money on food and beverages. It is said that this P was entertaining executives of major entertainment agencies and others in order to book high-profile artists for his programs. In order to raise the quality of the program, he was raising back taxes through a bitterly contested means. There was some sympathy for him, as the entertainment industry is a place where you have to have a certain amount of “connections” to make it work. I heard that he has been working for a major entertainment agency since he left the company, partly because of the value of the relationship he had with the company.

The former Yomiuri TV employee received a larger amount of money for inappropriate use, but Nas D was also subjected to “power harassment. It is not surprising that the company is being “lenient” in allowing him to remain in the company with only a demotion.

If he makes full use of his skills, there is no doubt that he may return to the stage like a “phoenix. For that reason, it is regrettable that the scandal brought an end to a well-known program.
