Nanaka Yano, the 19-year-old actress who graced the cover of FRIDAY, was moved by a line from her sister and words from her family

Advice from a 16-year-old sister

I will never forget the sight of my mother walking home after buying FRIDAY without putting the magazine in a bag and carrying it around as if to show it off (laughs). Not only my mother, but also my 16-year-old sister checked out FRIDAY and advised me, ‘You should advertise by posting more off-shot photos on SNS’ (laughs). (Laughs.) She said that she records and watches most of the dramas in which I appear, and on the day they air, she takes a picture of me in a scene and sends me a message saying, “You’re on TV so much! She sent me a line saying, ‘You’re on TV so much! It was the first time I realized how much support I had from my sister, and it made me a little bit touched.

Ms. Yano is currently starring in the Fuji Television drama “Otonnai Complex. Looking back on the filming, she says, “I gave a bold performance.

I took my acting to the extreme. I thought it was okay if I overdid it, so I was able to act with a lot of energy.

Yano has a deep insight that is hard to believe for a 19-year-old and an attitude of always seeking growth. She says she takes a break from her busy schedule to bake sweets. For Valentine’s Day this year, she spent three days making a large quantity of chocolates.

I baked a chocolate cheesecake for the main course, and heart-shaped strawberry pies and chocolate cookies for the sub course. I handed them out to everyone in the office and they were happy with them, but they were about an 80 for me. I didn’t make it look pretty, and I think I can make a better chocolate cheesecake, so I want to take my chances.”

Finally, Ms. Yano spoke frankly about her personal growth.

When I was a student, I didn’t actively make friends and was rarely involved with people outside of my family. I was only in a place that was comfortable for me, but now I am involved with a lot of people through my work and am rubbed up against society. Then I began to see many areas in which I was immature and lacking, both in gravure and in acting. It’s a bit painful, but I’m going to do my best to face them and show everyone the new Nanaka Yano.

Yano Nanaka is 19 years old.
She is an actress from Kanagawa Prefecture. She made her debut in 2010 and has been active in a variety of fields, including TV dramas and gravure. She is currently starring in the drama series “Otoya Complex,” which airs every Thursday from 25:25 on Fuji Television.
