<p> It has been announced that the drama series &#8220;Special Investigation 9&#8221; (TV Asahi), in which Yoshihiko Inohara plays the lead role, will reach its final season this April. Inohara, who has been involved in the drama for 19 years since &#8220;Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department Investigation Section 9&#8221; (in which the late Tsunehiko Watase starred from 2006 to 2005), commented, &#8220;I feel like I have done my job.</p>
<p> Special Investigation Section 9&#8243; started in April 2006, taking over the baton from &#8220;Metropolitan Police Department Investigation Section 9&#8221;. The series has depicted the &#8220;Special Search Team&#8221; members, including Inohara, Michiko Haneda, Mitsuru Fukikoshi, and Hiromasa Taguchi, who are all rich in personality, as they take on difficult cases.</p>

<p> Inohara, who plays the lead role in the series, says with enthusiasm, &#8220;I feel a strong desire to bring the series to a conclusion and give it a proper ending,&#8221; and &#8220;I can only express my gratitude to the viewers who have loved &#8220;Special Investigation 9&#8221; for many years.</p>
<p> Speaking of Inohara, the environment surrounding him changed drastically about three years ago. He became involved in the training of juniors before their CD debut as Hideaki Takizawa&#8217;s successor at the end of September 2010, and the following year he took the brunt of the publicity surrounding the sexual assault scandal involving Johnny&#8217;s (now &#8220;SMILE-UP.&#8221;) founder, Janie Kitagawa, by attending a press conference.</p>

<p><span class="strongInContent"> However, on New Year&#8217;s Eve of 2012, Inohara updated her blog on the members&#8217; site &#8220;FAMILY CLUB web&#8221; with the following words: &#8220;At the beginning of this year, I decided to leave junior development and other junior-related activities that I had been doing until then. The company told me, &#8220;Mr. Inohara, you need to be more involved in the junior development. The company told him that &#8216;Mr. Inohara should do more entertainment work,&#8217; and he confided that he was concentrating on his talent activities for the sake of his fans.</span></p>
<p> On February 16 of this year, the reorganization of the units within Junior was announced, which sent shockwaves through the fans. In a blog entry dated February 17, Inohara recounted that when he was in charge of training junior members, he had declared, &#8220;I&#8217;m not quitting! I&#8217;m not quitting! <p> At the beginning of the blog, Inohara also revealed that he has been leading a healthy lifestyle since the beginning of this year and wrote about the importance of &#8220;mental and physical health. The report said that she received doctor&#8217;s approval and went directly from the hospital to the venue on the last day of the show. Perhaps it is because she overcame these hardships that she is now prioritizing her &#8216;mental and physical health.</span></p>
<p> Unfortunately, the regular broadcast of &#8220;Special Investigation 9,&#8221; which used to be an annual event, will stop next year, but we look forward to the opportunity to see a new side of Inohara in its place.</p>
