Tokio Emoto & Hona Ikoka: The Unique Couple’s Sweet Date!

Cuddling up to each other in a friendly manner
Another unique couple has emerged in the entertainment industry.
The man is actor Tokio Emoto (35), and his partner is actress Honami Sato (35). She is also active as the drummer “Hona Ikoka” of the band “Gesu no Kiwami Otome,” making her a multi-talented artist. Our magazine has witnessed their affectionate date.
On a warm November night last year, unseasonably so, the two were spotted at a convenience store in a quiet residential area of Shibuya, Tokyo. Sato wore a black knit cap, while Tokio stylishly sported a camel-colored beret. After chatting for a while with a sweet treat in hand, the two walked away, closely nestled together, into an area lined with luxury apartments.
“Tokio was born into an acting family—his father is Akira Emoto (76), his mother was Kazue Tsugawa, who passed away in 2018, and his older brother is Tasuku Emoto (38), who plays Fujiwara no Michinaga in the NHK Taiga drama ‘Hikaru Kimi e.’ Tokio himself has appeared in numerous notable works, including the drama ‘Watashi, Teiji de Kaerimasu.’ (TBS). He married actress Mari Iriki (35) in 2020 but divorced in 2022.” (Sports newspaper entertainment reporter)
In his personal life, he formed a group called “Busu-kai” with actors he co-starred with in dramas, including Mitsuki Takahata (33) and Sosuke Ikematsu (34). Last July, our magazine also spotted him at a men’s gathering with Masaki Okada (35). He seems to have a glamorous network of actor friends.
“Sato, in recent years, has established herself as an actress, earning praise for her performance as a transgender chef in the drama ‘Roppongi Class’ (TV Asahi). She was previously married to a male musician but has already divorced.” (Same source as above)
What brought these two unique actors closer was the drama “Kinshicho Paradise Shibuya kara Ippon” (TV Tokyo) in the July season last year.
“Tokio produced and starred in this project alongside Okada, while Sato appeared as the lover of the protagonist, played by Kento Kaku (35). The two had previously modeled together for the apparel brand ‘MONSTROUSA’ in 2023, sharing a similar fashion taste. They reunited on set the following year and hit it off.” (Entertainment agency executive)
According to Josei Seven, the two are already living together. Are they considering remarriage? In late February, FRIDAY directly approached Tokio.

Having both experienced divorce, these two immensely talented actors, who have deepened their craft, are now taking steps toward a new stage in life.
