<h3>Selected as the Heroine for Her Film Debut</h3>
Singer-songwriter Milet (age undisclosed) will make her film debut as the heroine in Shiranai Kanojo, starring Kento Nakajima (30), which is set to be released on the 28th. The two attended a lighting ceremony for an illumination event in collaboration with the film in Tokyo on February 13.
Since the next day was Valentine&#8217;s Day, Milet was asked about her past experiences. She shared a bittersweet memory, saying, &#8220;When I was a student, I used to make handmade chocolates, but I could never bring myself to give them away. So, I would just go home and eat them alone—that became my sad Valentine’s routine.&#8221;
Milet made her major debut in March 2019 with her first EP, inside you EP. The title track, inside you, was selected as the opening theme for the Fuji TV drama Scandal Senmon Bengoshi QUEEN, starring the late Yuko Takeuchi.
From 2020 to last year, she performed for four consecutive years at NHK’s Kohaku Uta Gassen on New Year&#8217;s Eve. Additionally, in August 2021, she captivated audiences with a powerful performance of Hymne à l’amour during the Tokyo Olympics closing ceremony, accompanied by Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra.
Although she has firmly established herself as a star in the music industry, little is known about her personal background beyond the fact that she spent her middle and high school years in Canada. Her birth date and place of origin remain undisclosed.

Then, in February 2022, Shukan Josei PRIME reported that she had once said, “I’m going to Sony Music” when discussing career paths with her classmates, that she usually took taxis when going out, and that she had a tall, handsome guitarist boyfriend during her university years.
If she was indeed a classmate of Angora Sonchou, that would put her current age at around 30. Despite her fame and the dominance of the internet, no negative information about her has surfaced, suggesting that she was not the type of person to be disliked by those around her. In interviews, she has mentioned being surrounded by music since childhood, implying that she likely grew up in a wealthy family,” said a music journalist.
Up until now, reports about her have focused mainly on her university years. However, there are other details about her past that have come to light.
“According to former YouTuber and House of Councillors member Yoshikazu Azumaya, also known as ‘Garcy’ (53), before her debut, she was a devoted fan of RADWIMPS. During their Hong Kong concert, she was reportedly brought along by Azumaya’s close friend, Akira Kuwahara (39), a former member of the band who had since left. Azumaya recalled, ‘Back when she used to hang out with us, she had this wild personality—like, you couldn’t even understand what she was saying.’ Of course, the truth of this claim remains uncertain,” the journalist continued.
In an interview published on February 5, 2022, in the online edition of the lifestyle magazine CREA, milet stated:
&#8220;The band Quruli is my absolute favorite artist.&#8221;
When she performed at Fuji Rock Festival in 2021, she met the band’s vocalist, Shigeru Kishida (48), backstage for the first time. She was so overwhelmed with excitement that she could barely remember their conversation.
