<p> What did &#8220;FRIDAY&#8221; report 10, 20, and 30 years ago? In this issue of &#8220;Playback Friday,&#8221; we take a look back at the topics that were hot at the time. This time, we will introduce a report from 10 years ago, in the February 6, 2003 issue, <span class="strongInContent">titled, &#8220;Popular and cute private outfit: Princess Yoshiko appears on the ICU campus by bus!</span> in the February 6, 2003 issue.</p>
<p> After dropping out of Gakushuin University in 2002, Kako took the AO entrance exam for International Christian University (ICU) and passed with flying colors. The article introduces her visit to the university for orientation in preparation for her enrollment in April 2003 (descriptions in parentheses are quoted from previous articles. All ages are those of the time).</p>

<h3><span class="strongInContent"> Good morning! he greeted cheerfully.</span></h3>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> A crowded bus stops at the last stop. The bus stops at the end of the line, and passengers are getting off in a rush. Amidst them all, Kako (then 20) stands out by far.</span></p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> It is 10:00 in the morning on January 16. Kako appeared on the campus of International Christian University (Mitaka City, Tokyo), where she will be attending this spring. Today she has a pre-entrance orientation here. She had dropped out of Gakushuin University, where many members of the royal family have graduated, to attend this university, which she had hoped to enter. I was deeply moved by the experience.</span></p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> Kako takes off her mask as she walks down the tree-lined avenue to the school building. She meets a friend,</span><span class="strongInContent"> &#8220;Good morning!</span><span class="strongInContent"> she greeted her friend cheerfully.</span></p>
<p> Kako took the JR Chuo Line and a bus to get here. She was &#8220;disguised&#8221; in a mask, and the SPs only watched her from a distance. The focus of attention was her exquisite &#8220;motekawa&#8221; fashion, which was both attractive to men and cute to women.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> &#8220;On this day, Kako was wearing a trendy chester coat and side gore boots with a snood (ring-shaped scarf) and a bag in white. Compared to the colorful college girls around her, her mature and simple coordination had a strong presence,&#8221; said a journalist from the Imperial Household.</span></p>
<p> After entering the school building, Kako attended Christian lectures and hands-on classes. The orientation session continued after lunch, and by the end of the day she was a little tired.</p>

<p><span class="strongInContent">&#8220;When Kako took off her coat and scarf in the classroom, underneath was a green sweater that was wide open at the neck, revealing her collarbone and looking very sexy. Her expression changed from one to the other, making her look cute. She is definitely one of the most beautiful women in ICU, which has many female students. At the end of the orientation, when the doctor announced that the orientation would be over in 40 minutes, I couldn&#8217;t hide my exhaustion and with a slight frown, I asked my friend, &#8220;Is it still going to take long?　It&#8217;s a long time, isn&#8217;t it?</span></p>
<p> What was Kako&#8217;s new campus life like? It is said that her mother, Noriko (58), was opposed to her dancing, which she liked so much that she formed a team in high school, and she was unable to practice it during her time at Gakushuin. &#8230;&#8230;</p>
<h3><span class="strongInContent"> She never joined a college dance club&#8230;</span></h3>
<p> Kako enrolled at ICU because she wanted to study in a different environment from Gakushuin, the school she attended from kindergarten through high school. after enrolling in April, she apparently visited performances by ICU&#8217;s dance circle, but she never joined the circle. However, in &#8217;19, &#8220;Josei Jishin&#8221; reported that Kako went to a dance school in the suburbs and attended performances, and it seems that she continued to dance, which she liked.</p>
<p> After graduating from the university in 1919, she spent her days attending court events and performing official duties. Since 2009, she has also been working as a part-time office worker for the All Japan Federation of the Deaf, but in recent years she has been so busy with her official duties that she has reduced her attendance from three days a week to two days a week.</p>
<p> At the time of her graduation, just as the postponement of the marriage between her sister Mako and Kei Komuro was becoming a hot topic, Kako commented in writing, <span class="strongInContent">&#8220;I believe that in marriage, the feelings of the person concerned are important</span>. At the end of last year, on December 29, Kako turned 30. Has a partner who matches her feelings already appeared?</p>
