OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder Spotted Looking Cool!

A true gentleman who is kind to his fans
In mid-January, just before 3 PM, a group of foreign men pulling large suitcases appeared at the Yaesu exit of Tokyo Station. As soon as they arrived, female fans who had been eagerly waiting erupted into deafening cheers. Their target? The band “OneRepublic,” who were in Japan for their concert tour.
“Formed in Colorado, USA, OneRepublic is a six-member pop-rock band. Their debut album, ‘Dreaming Out Loud’ (2007), sold over a million copies. The album’s single ‘Apologize’ became a global hit, with a remix version by producer Timbaland (52) topping the charts in 16 countries and earning a Grammy nomination.
Now, they stand alongside bands like ‘Coldplay’ and ‘Maroon 5’ in popularity. Their song ‘I Ain’t Worried’ from Tom Cruise’s 2022 film ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ was a worldwide smash hit. In Japan, their fan base has been growing, especially after their song ‘Nobody’ was used as the ending theme for the anime ‘Kaiju No. 8’ (TV Tokyo),” says a music magazine editor.
That day, they had just arrived in Tokyo by Shinkansen after finishing their Osaka concert. Each member pulled their own suitcase and walked at a relaxed pace, but the one receiving the most enthusiastic cheers was Ryan Tedder (45).
“As OneRepublic’s lead vocalist, Ryan is also a renowned producer who has worked with superstars like Beyoncé (43) and Lady Gaga (38), earning him the title of a pop music mastermind. He has won the Grammy Award for ‘Album of the Year’ for his work on Adele’s albums ’21’ and ’25,’ as well as Taylor Swift’s ‘1989.’ With his tall stature, handsome looks, and gentlemanly demeanor, he has a huge female following,” the editor adds.
Wearing mirrored sunglasses, Ryan led the way as female fans rushed toward him with autograph boards in hand. While the staff loaded their luggage into a waiting car, he took the time to interact with fans, signing autographs with a warm and gracious attitude.
It seems certain that his presence in Japan will only continue to grow.
