At the top with overwhelming style! The “Race Ambassador Award” grand prix winner’s “beautiful body” is intoxicating!

Long-sought Grand Prix at her sixth attempt!
In recent years, the name “race queen,” which includes the gender-biased term “queen,” has been changed to “race ambassador” in a number of cases, most notably in Japan’s top race, the Super GT. In line with this change, the “Japan Race Queen Award” was changed to the “Race Ambassador Award” starting from this year’s Tokyo Auto Salon.
The selection process is almost the same as in the previous years, with the most popular ambassadors appearing in major domestic racing categories such as Super GT and Super Taikyu in the previous year being selected by fan voting. The results were announced on January 11, the second day of the Tokyo Auto Salon, at the main stage of Makuhari Messe, the venue for the event.
Before the announcement, the 10 race ambassadors who have won the Grand Prix in the past also made an appearance. The awards ceremony was even more spectacular. As the venue was filled with excitement, this year’s Grand Prix was awarded to Kotone Mizuse (27) of “D’station Fresh Angels,” who is active in Super GT and other events. After receiving the award, she commented on her joy.
I have received various awards since I started as a race ambassador in 2007, but to finally win the Grand Prix this time was such an event that I still think it was a dream come true. The thing that made me happiest was that everyone involved was really happy.
I have been told that I was a picky eater, a teasing character, and that I did not look like a …… race ambassador, but thanks to everyone who accepted me as I was, I am “Kochamaru” (Ms. Mizuse’s nickname) today. My dream of winning the Grand Prix in this costume has come true! I am glad that I never gave up and kept trying, even when things got tough.
On the same day, the “Tokyo Auto Salon Costume Awards” were held for the third time this year. The committee selected the “Best Costume Award” for the costumes of the companions who participated in the Tokyo Auto Salon, taking into consideration the design and the level of attention they attracted. This year, out of approximately 400 exhibitors, three booths were selected for the Excellence Award: “Sphere Light” for the second year in a row, “BMW Japan” for the second time, and “GTNET/C-WEST” for the first time.
In addition, a large number of companions participated in the event and added color to the famous cars. Many fans who came to the show were intoxicated by the “beauty competition” that was as impressive as the gorgeous cars on display.
