Akanishi Jin and Beautiful Woman: Afterparty Departure Sparks Speculation
24 Years of Hot Love Scoops: "After That Hot Love Scoop" - Jin Akanishi and an Exotic Beauty
On December 25, 2024, former KAT-TUN member Akanishi Jin (40) announced on his SNS that he had formed a music unit with actor Yamada Takayuki (41). Akanishi, who divorced actress Kuroki Meisa (36) in 2023, is currently single. Even in the Reiwa era, the “Heartthrob of the Heisei era” continues to charm. Let’s take a closer look at the details based on the article published on October 30, 2024.
Leakage of sex appeal.
On the evening of October 6, 2024, singer Akanishi Jin appeared at a hidden gem restaurant tucked away in a narrow alleyway in Ebisu, Shibuya Ward. Dressed in blue wide jeans, a black shirt, stylish glasses framing his eyes, and his fluffy hair blending seamlessly into the night streets of Ebisu.
“Akanishi held his ‘JIN AKANISHI WEEKEND LIVE 2024’ at Tokyo Garden Theater (Koto Ward) from October 4 to 6. Over the three days, he captivated approximately 24,000 fans with a setlist of 21 songs, including new releases. The final show featured a surprise appearance by Ryo Nishikido (40), a longtime close friend of 20 years. During this performance, they announced their joint project, ‘N/A,’ which will hold an arena tour in June 2025, creating an electric atmosphere at the venue” (music writer).
On this final day, following the live, Akanishi and his entourage headed to a high-end yakiniku restaurant, a favorite of celebrities, where they enjoyed A5-ranked Japanese beef. Around 10:30 PM, after about three hours, Akanishi emerged from the VIP room through a dedicated entrance, exuding a captivating, laid-back aura. As attendees began leaving the venue, Nishikido was among them. The two later boarded the same chauffeured car and disappeared into the depths of the night.
Currently, Akanishi leads a dual-residence lifestyle between America and Japan. According to entertainment reporter Chikako Komai,
“His activities took a significant turn after celebrating his 10th anniversary of independence in 2023. During the 10th-anniversary live in June 2023, Akanishi granted unprecedented media access and personally visited Johnny & Associates to handle copyright requests. Additionally, in May 2024, he joined the cast of an upcoming Netflix series starring Shun Oguri (title TBD), which presents a unique opportunity to establish his presence not only in Japan but globally. Preparing for a full-fledged return to acting, Akanishi has been steadily laying the groundwork.”
with a beautiful woman with an exotic face.
After leaving the restaurant, Akanishi and Nishikido headed to Nishi-Azabu (Minato Ward), seemingly for a private after-party. Upon getting out of the chauffeured car, they wandered around with a phone in hand, seemingly struggling to locate their intended destination. Eventually, they arrived in front of a certain building, entered the elevator, and headed to a wine bar on the top floor. It appeared that this was their venue for the second round of festivities.
Not long after their arrival, a variety of women—a long-haired beauty, a dancer-like beauty, and a model-esque beauty—began entering the same building one after another.
As the night deepened, around 3 a.m., the women were seen leaving the building. Shortly after, Akanishi, Nishikido, and the other men emerged all at once. After exchanging words with Nishikido, Akanishi parted ways with him and boarded a chauffeured car alone, which had been waiting nearby.
It seemed as though he was heading straight home, but the car stopped near an intersection. After a short while, a woman dressed entirely in black, blending into the darkness, approached the car. Upon closer look, it was the exotic beauty spotted earlier at the wine bar! She wore a black bell-bottom set and high stiletto heels that suited her perfectly.
It appeared that she had arranged to meet Akanishi with a time delay. When she was spotted, the car’s sliding door opened, and she promptly boarded. After driving for a while, the car stopped in front of Akanishi’s apartment building. Following Akanishi, the woman also got out of the car. The sound of her high heels clicking echoed pleasantly as the two disappeared into the apartment building together.
“In December 2023, Akanishi announced a ‘Christmas divorce’ from Meisa Kuroki. Before marriage, his type often leaned towards women who looked foreign or mixed-race, and he reportedly dated many of them. Perhaps their personalities align well, especially given his long stay in the U.S.,” commented an entertainment reporter for a sports newspaper.
“FRIDAY” sent inquiries to Akanishi’s agency regarding his relationship with this woman, but no response was received by the deadline.
Even as a divorced man in his forties, the lively and charismatic heartthrob seems to have only increased in energy and allure.
Nishikido and Yamada Working in two units.
As mentioned at the beginning, Akanishi has formed a unit with Yamada named Cayme Story. The name evokes the popular vocal duo CHEMISTRY, and even the released jacket photo closely resembles their style.
“Actually, Akanishi and Yamada are best friends and previously formed a unit called JINTAKA in 2016. At that time, they released a track called Choo Choo SHITAIN, a playful take on EXILE’s song Choo Choo TRAIN.
In this new unit, Akanishi goes by ‘Dojin,’ and Yamada by ‘Yamahata,’ adding their unique humor. However, the music itself is serious. Their new song, Lose Control, is urban, sophisticated, and of very high quality. That said, the resemblance to CHEMISTRY is quite strong (laughs). It feels like they’re being seriously playful. More songs, like a second or third release, will likely follow,” commented a music magazine editor.
Akanishi has also been part of the unit N/A with Nishikido, which had ceased activity after 2021. However, this June, an arena tour was announced, marking a revival of this unit’s activities.
That said, social media has seen harsh comments such as, “Not interested at all. It won’t sell anyway,” and, “In the end, Akanishi can’t perform solo.” Whether performing with two separate units will bring success or failure remains to be seen. Keep an eye on this.
