Tombstone 2024] Sad farewells to stars always come suddenly. We bring you words of regret along with treasured photos.
Nobuyo Oyama
Passed away on September 29th at the age of 90

Ms. Oyama’s Doraemon was very special.
Megumi Ohara (voice actress)
For me, Doraemon was the one who was always on my side. Ms. Oyama’s voice gave me that sense of security beautifully.
It is not a bible, but I learned the lessons of life and the tragedy of war from Mr. Oyama’s Doraemon.
Doraemon is a work that has a great influence on children, so Mr. Oyama was very careful to use correct Japanese when he played the role.
I am grateful that Mr. Oyama has given dreams, hope, and courage to so many people through his role as Doraemon.
I, as Nobita, have also passed on the baton to him. I will do my best.
