On November 22, &#8220;Good Couple Day,&#8221; Masaki Okada (35) was spotted at a small izakaya in Edogawa, Tokyo. On this day, Okada was filming for his starring role in the drama The Travel Nurse (TV Asahi). Due to his sudden marriage to Mitsuki Takahata (32), which had made headlines, a crowd of 30-40 people, mostly women, gathered to catch a glimpse of him.
As the filming crew tried to clear the crowd, fans kept returning, leading to a back-and-forth between the fans and staff. Every time someone shouted, &#8220;Congratulations on your wedding~~,&#8221; Okada would smile and give a small nod in acknowledgment.
&#8220;When the cut was called, Okada-san spent his time chatting with his co-star Nakai Kiichi (63). The atmosphere on set was calm, and during breaks, Okada&#8217;s smile never faded&#8221; (a passerby).

After finishing the shoot, Okada immediately got into his car and, perhaps eager to reunite with his wife, went straight home.

Before filming began, director Rikiya Imaizumi helped facilitate a meal between the three of them, and their friendship had been growing for a while. Okada enjoys household chores, and Takahata is a true indoor type. It&#8217;s likely that their bond deepened through at-home dates.
Their relationship was kept secret, with no hints or gossip leaking out. However, before their marriage announcement, Okada reportedly told his seniors, including Tsuyoshi Muro (48), Shun Oguri (41), and his close friend, Tori Matsuzaka (36).&#8221;
