<p><span class="strongInContent"> &#8220;From spring to summer of my second year of junior high school, Mr. Kitamura called me to the first science preparation room and said, &#8216;I&#8217;m going to give you a massage. At first, he touched my thighs and calves over my jersey, but after being called several times, he started touching my pubic area over my jersey and putting his hands inside my underwear,&#8221; said Ms. A.</span></p>
<p> Hisayoshi Kitamura, 57, former principal of a junior high school in Tokyo&#8217;s Nerima Ward, is accused of child prostitution and quasi-rape for sexually assaulting and injuring a female student, Ms. A, on the campus of the junior high school where he worked.</p>
<p> Mr. A took the stand at the first trial of the jury trial held on November 20, 2012, and revealed the sexual damage he had suffered behind closed doors.</p>

<p> In addition to sexually assaulting Ms. A, Kitamura was also accused of violating the Child Pornography Law by filming and possessing indecent acts of another female student, Ms. B. &#8220;In November 2010,&#8221; Kitamura said, &#8220;I was accused of sexually assaulting Ms. A. <p> Kitamura remarried a former student in 2009 and has a two-year-old child. After his arrest, he was dismissed from work on disciplinary grounds and has been supporting his family as a part-time cleaner.</p>
<p> It was more than 10 years ago that Mr. A entered the junior high school where Kitamura worked. At the school where Mr. Kitamura worked before he became principal, he was involved with Ms. A as an advisor for club activities, in charge of science, and as the head of the career guidance department.</p>
<p> Mr. A, who had been thinking about applying to a top public school since he first entered the school, had the following thoughts about junior high school life.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> I thought it was important to do well not only in test scores, but also in class attitude and club activities. If you stop club activities or miss school for a long period of time, you will lose a lot of points in your internal examinations. I had already consulted with the defendant about the school he wanted to go to in the second year of junior high school.&#8221;</span></p>
