<p> It was on December 4 that the world saw a video of a woman taking a firm stand against a soldier pointing a gun at her.</p>
<p> The woman&#8217;s name is Ahn Gui-ryong, 35. She is a spokesperson for South Korea&#8217;s largest opposition party, the Co-operative Democratic Party. When President Yun Suk-yeol declared martial law for the first time in 45 years, soldiers stormed the National Assembly in an attempt to control politics through military force. Mr. Ahn stood in front of the soldiers to prevent them from doing so.</p>
<p> After the lifting of emergency martial law, Mr. Ahn told the BBC, &#8220;I knew I had to stop the military. He has long been famous in Korea as a &#8220;beautiful spokesperson. What kind of person is she?</p>

<h2> Zero Won&#8221; on the Asset Declaration Form</h2>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> She was born in Gyeongju in southern South Korea and studied speech informatics at the prestigious Ewha Womans University. After graduation, she worked as a freelance announcer.&#8217; In 2004, I joined YTN, a news broadcaster, and worked as an announcer and news reporter.&#8221; After leaving the company in 2010, she joined the campaign of then presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung of the &#8220;United Democratic Party&#8221; and became a spokesperson for the Lee campaign.</span></p>
