The acrobatic pole dancer is gravure idol Yoko Kumada (42). She has been pole dancing for about three years. She will be one of the five finalists in the “International Poleartist.competition 2024,” a world pole dance competition to be held in Tokyo on December 21. Kumada talks about her enthusiasm (Kumada comments below).

I will be competing in the 40s and amateur category, dancing barefoot, plain style. The judges will be foreign pole artists. I will be judged as a pole dancer, not as a celebrity ‘Yoko Kumada.

When I went back to the floor, I felt as if I had circled the globe, no exaggeration. I have loved physical exercise since I was a child. It felt exciting, like playing on the swings and bars at the park.
