30-Year-Old Man Assaults Junior High School Girl He Met Online at Hotel
I met up with the girl and we went to a hotel, but I am not aware that I abducted her. I don’t remember what happened in the hotel.
The man denied the allegations when questioned by the police.
On November 19, the Denenchofu Police Station of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department arrested Takuya Hashimoto, 30, of Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture, on suspicion of kidnapping for the purpose of indecent assault and having sexual intercourse with a minor, and allegedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old female junior high school student.
The suspect and Ms. A met through social networking services, and it was in mid-June that the two began exchanging messages on Instagram and other social networking sites. The alleged incident occurred on July 25; the two met up on a street in Ota Ward, Tokyo, in the early afternoon. We are told that it was the first time they met in person on that day.
Hashimoto put Ms. A in the car he was driving and took her to Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, where he took her to a hotel and sexually assaulted her. The two separated after 7:30 p.m. on the same day. The next day, Ms. A’s mother contacted the police for advice. The next day, Ms. A’s mother contacted the police, who used security camera footage from the area around the hotel to arrest Hashimoto.
I just want to go on a casual date.
It is known that Hashimoto made a horrifying request to Ms. A on SNS just before the incident.
I want to have sex with you.
I want to go on a light date with you.
The photographer for this magazine filmed Hashimoto’s court appearance on November 20. She glanced at the camera and appeared restless.
There have been many cases of girls who have met men through SNS getting into trouble. Here are some of the major incidents that have occurred over the past few years (ages are current at the time).
In May ’19, a 34-year-old man kidnapped a 14-year-old girl, lured her to his home and locked her up, after posting on a social networking site that he was going to consult with her about her problems. He lured her to his home and held her there! Do you want a relationship like an equal husband and wife? He then put a collar and chain on her so she could not escape, sexually assaulted her for six months, and filmed it with a digital camera, creating more than 160 videos. He also kidnapped a 12-year-old girl and was sentenced to 20 years in prison in March 2010.
In September 2010, a 28-year-old man kidnapped a suicidal junior high school girl he met on a social networking service. He allegedly spent several days at her home and took her to a bridge in a mountainous area to help her commit suicide. The junior high school girl was found dead. The man’s motive for committing the crime was indecency. In court after his arrest and indictment, he stated, “I thought that if I was kind to a mentally unstable girl, she would take an interest in me and easily have a relationship or sexual intercourse with me. He also stated that he had met five to six suicidal women in his life. The man is sentenced to five years and six months in prison.
It is naturally dangerous to meet a stranger through a social networking service, especially if the person is a minor. This is especially true if the person is a minor. The police are warning people to be careful.
