Tomohisa Yamashita notices his fans and turns to look at them.

In March 2021, he became an ambassador for Bulgari.

In early November, around 3 p.m., on Namiki Street in Tokyo’s upscale Ginza district (Chuo Ward), where high-end boutiques line the street, a mini wagon was parked in front of the Bulgari Ginza Tower store. Standing next to the car was a man who appeared to be a Bulgari staff member, chatting happily with a handsome man sitting in the back seat. It was Tomohisa Yamashita (39).

“After leaving Johnny’s Agency in October 2020, Yamashita immediately participated in the filming of the Hollywood movie The Man from Toronto, set for release in 2022. In March 2021, he became the first Japanese man to be appointed as an ambassador for Bulgari. He also participated in a Bulgari event in Kyoto in July this year, alongside Koyuki (47) and Hikari Mori (32). It seems that he frequently visits the Bulgari restaurant on the 9th floor of the Ginza Tower store in his private life, and he may have enjoyed lunch there on this day,” shared a fashion magazine editor.

Yamashita, laughing, chatted with the staff member for a while, then gave a slight bow before the car drove off. Several passersby had already noticed him and, upon exclaiming, “Ah, it’s Yamapi!” he smiled and responded with a friendly look.

Recently, it was announced that Yamashita will appear as a guest (only on December 7) at the Tokyo Comic Convention 2024 held at Makuhari Messe (Chiba Prefecture) from December 6 for three days.

“Yamashita stars in the popular series Drops of God, a joint production between the U.S., France, and Japan, which began streaming on Hulu in September 2023. The production of season 2 was also announced this year in May. Based on the manga God’s Drop, the show features French actress Fleur Geffrier, who will join him for a joint signing event at Tokyo Comic-Con,” an event insider revealed.

Starting December 6, a new commercial for Moët & Chandon, filmed in France’s Champagne region, will air, marking Yamashita’s continued expansion on the global stage. His future activities are definitely ones to watch.
