Masaki Okada and Mitsuki Takahata are getting married.
On November 19, Masaki Okada (35) and Mitsuki Takahata (32) updated their SNS to announce their marriage, having starred together for the first time in the drama “1122 Good Couple,” which was distributed on the video distribution service Prime Video in June. However, since then, there have been no rumors of their relationship, and the social networking sites have been filled with such surprising comments as “an unexpected couple that blows everything out of the water” and “a surprising but beautiful couple who are perfect for each other.
Speaking of Okada, this magazine FRIDAY reported on his love affair with Fuji Television’s Yui Suzuki, 30, in June 2009. At that time, in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, the pattern of their relationship was for Okada to drive to Suzuki’s home to pick him up and have a nest date at his house. Immediately after this report, Fuji Television’s “Mezamashi 8” picked up on the dating report, and also reported that “marriage was on the cards.
However, “Post Seven” distributed on January 8, ’23, reported Okada and Suzuki’s breakup. According to the article, Okada broke up with her at the end of ’22. Around the same time, FRIDAY reported on Okada’s “3-hour ‘Hashigo-zake’ date” with Maki Fukuda (36) of the comedy trio “3 o’clock heroine” (January 6 and 13, 2011 issues). Okada’s fans were disturbed by the unexpected pairing, but it seems that they did not develop a relationship.
At one point, they even lived together. ……
Meanwhile, FRIDAY has reported several times on Takahata’s love affairs, including a “yakiniku date” with Yuta Chiba (35) in July ’15, when the young actress first gained attention for her role as Kiko, sister of Yutaro Saigon, played by Masahiro Higashide (36) in the NHK morning drama “Gochisousan. July 24, ’15 issue).’ In January 2004, she reported a “four-hour Shibuya date” (January 22, 2004 issue) with singer-songwriter Yu Takahashi (40).
She and Kentaro Sakaguchi (33), with whom she is said to have started dating in ’16, had grown close to the point of living together at one point, but their relationship broke up by the end of 2008.
After such twists and turns, the two have reached the goal of marriage. The following words were written on each other’s social networking sites.
We have spent our lives as best friends, but from now on we will be husband and wife. We will work hard and inspire each other to do our best to show you a better image in our works, and we hope you will warmly watch over us.
The bond between these two best friends who know each other so well must be very strong. I wish them a long and happy life together.
