Z Li and Ishiba’s Alleged Role in Toryu Sabotage Against Takaichi

Uncovering the Reality of Anonymous, Fluid Crime Groups (Tokuryu)
Did she go to put on the collar?
In response to the frequent incidents of illegal side jobs via SNS, the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) is reorganizing its security and anti-terrorism research committee into the “Security, Terrorism, and Cybercrime Measures Committee” and is adjusting to appoint former Economic Security Minister Sanae Takaichi as the head. Takaichi is considered suitable for the position, as she was responsible for cybersecurity measures during her tenure as Economic Security Minister.
Takaichi had competed with Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba for the position of Prime Minister in the LDP leadership election on September 27. After the election, she was offered the post of Secretary-General within the party, but she declined. She has maintained a certain distance from Prime Minister Ishiba, but this new personnel decision is:
“It’s hard to find a justifiable reason to refuse. If she declines, there will be opinions like ‘Who do you think you are!'” (LDP official)
It is said.
The role of the new organization is multifaceted, but what is expected is the clarification and stronger enforcement against anonymous and fluid-type criminal groups (Tokuryu) that connect a large number of people through high-security SNS and where the perpetrators frequently change. Takai herself had also made this issue one of her campaign promises during the October House of Representatives election.
On November 14, it was revealed that the person behind the popular account Z Lee, which has over 900,000 followers on X (formerly Twitter), was arrested. The five men arrested by the Metropolitan Police Department’s organized crime division on suspicion of illegal entry were Masaki Tada, Takayuki Sawaguchi, and Koji Shikuwa, a fighter with a history in RIZIN.
The suspects, including Tada, entered the apartment of a man in his 40s in Edogawa Ward, Tokyo, in November 2022. Their motive was to retrieve a stolen motorcycle from a member of Z Lee. They reportedly stayed in the man’s home for over an hour.
The Metropolitan Police Department is putting all its efforts into.
“There is a different intention behind tackling a two-year-old incident at this time. There is information suggesting that the group led by Suspect Tadaki is involved in a Tokuryu related case, and authorities are likely using the two-year-old residence invasion to secure their arrest, followed by smartphone analysis and raids on related locations as part of an intensive investigation.” (Police source)
The Z Li account is operated by multiple people, and updates continued even after the arrest of Suspect Tadaki.
According to publishing sources:
“There are rumors of an upcoming expose book on Z Li. Authorities consider the Z Li group to be not directly linked to anti-social elements but connected to people close to them, and they believe it could lead to uncovering the identity of the criminal organizations behind a series of dark-side job incidents.”
It is said.
Despite the arrest of Z Li, another incident occurred around the same time: A man was arrested and sent for prosecution in Akita city for withdrawing about 1.5 million yen from an elderly woman’s cash card, which was obtained through illegal means. This man is believed to be an accomplice in the dark-side job and has confessed to committing similar crimes in six other prefectures including Kyoto, Kagawa, and Miyagi.
On November 14th, two individuals—a 16-year-old boy and a 27-year-old university student—were arrested in Kochi Prefecture, believed to be part of the Tokuryu gang. They repeatedly sold fake Rolex watches in stores in the Chugoku-Shikoku region, defrauding victims of a total of 36 million yen. The police had arrested 17 individuals by the 15th, and these two were found to play a central role in the fraud group.
“Tokuryu crimes leave no room for delay. Can Takai-san’s strong-arm tactics bring them to an end? Her true abilities will be put to the test.” (Nagatacho source)
There is widespread hope online for Takai-san, but some members of the ruling party have a different perspective:
“Prime Minister Ishiba put a collar on Takai-san. He recently held a meeting with her support group, and there were reports in weekly magazines claiming that Takai-san is sending up a signal. Although her influence has declined since the general election, she still has many passionate supporters who cannot be ignored. The Tokuryu problem is extremely complicated, and even with the full effort of the Metropolitan Police, it is said that the case cannot be fully resolved. If crime rates drop, the administration will take credit; if they fail, Takai-san’s lack of ability will be the issue.”
Will Takai-san remain calm and clear this unreasonable request?
