<h2> The heroine of a morning drama is decided by audition or offer.</h2>
<p> Akari Takaishi, 21, has been chosen as the heroine of NHK&#8217;s &#8220;Bakebake,&#8221; a TV drama series scheduled to air in the fall of 2013.</p>
<p> The 113th work in the series is modeled on Koizumi Setsu, the wife of Koizumi Yakumo (Lafcadio Hearn), a Meiji-era foreign writer known for his &#8220;Kwaidan&#8221; (ghost stories), which includes the story &#8220;Miminashi Yoshiichi no Hanashi&#8221; (The Story of Miminashi Yoshiichi). Takaishi plays the role of the main character, Toki Matsuno, and at a press conference held at NHK&#8217;s Osaka Broadcasting Station on October 29, she expressed her excitement, saying, &#8220;I have been a heroine of morning dramas since I was a child.</p>
<p> I <span class="strongInContent">have dreamed of being a heroine in a morning drama since I was a little girl, and now I am finally starting to feel it, and the warm expressions on everyone&#8217;s faces have filled my heart.</span></p>
<p> The heroine of a morning drama is chosen either by audition or by direct offer to the actress. This time, an audition was held and 2,892 people were selected, the third largest number in the history of morning dramas.</p>

Tao Tsuchiya (29) in &#8220;Mare&#8221; (first half of 2003) were selected through auditions. Most of the heroines have gone on to star in dramas and movies after appearing in morning dramas, so it is no exaggeration to say that their future is assured.</span></p>

<h2>Yuriko Yoshitaka&#8217;s powerful fashion shown at the launch</h2>
<p> Around 5:00 p.m. on August 28, 2002, celebrities appeared one after another at the Keio Plaza Hotel in Shinjuku, Tokyo, where the launch of the NHK television series &#8220;Hanako to Anne&#8221; was about to take place. The celebrities included Yukie Nakama (45), who played the heroine Hanako Muraoka&#8217;s best friend, and Akihiro Miwa (89), who narrated the story. Even then NHK Chairman Katsuhito Hammai (81) made an appearance. A little later in the day was the lead actress, Yuriko Yoshitaka. Her fashion was astonishing.</p>

<p> She was wearing a straw hat, round glasses, a black-and-white striped set-up, and thick-soled shoes. She is a fashionable girl, and that is probably why she can wear these outfits.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> The party was led by Ms. Yoshitaka. She and Hana Kuroki (34), who played her younger sister, tearfully said, &#8220;It&#8217;s over now,&#8221; but then she hugged Nakama repeatedly and shouted, &#8220;Thank you very much. Nakama rubbed Yoshitaka&#8217;s back and said, &#8220;You did well. The passionate relationship between the actors was directly reflected in the drama, and the average viewer rating exceeded 21%. Ms. Yoshitaka cried so much that she had to leave her seat twice to change her makeup. </span></p>
<p> The first party ended at around 8 pm, but the party went on to the second and then the third karaoke box. It was 5:30 in the morning when Yoshitaka emerged from the restaurant. The NHK staff members shouted &#8220;banzai&#8221; to the brightly lit streets of Shibuya. A tipsy Yoshitaka got into his car, rolled down the windows, and waved to the staff.</p>

<p> Production supervisor Kunio Hashizume had this to say about Takaishi, who plays the role of Toki Matsuno, the heroine of &#8220;Bakebake.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> Her naturalistic performance is just like that of a real live crested ibis. Not only her theatrical ability, but also her sensitive expression of emotion that she keeps inside her heart captivated all the staff members who were on site. Toki is not a glamorous character. She is a woman who lives her life in her own way, cheerfully, despite her worries and doubts. I believe that Ms. Takaishi will bring such a Toki to life.</span></p>
