Why Rasa Nakamura, winner of the “Mrs. Global Earth World Competition,” is “destined to make her breakthrough” – The big names in the industry have fallen in love with her.
Entertainment Reporter Toshio Ishikawa's "Behind the Scenes" of the entertainment industry: ......
Nail salon, walking classes, and a home-care business.
She may really make her breakthrough.
That’s what I thought about Risa Nakamura, a multi-talented woman who has begun working mainly in Hokkaido.
A 39-year-old native of Eniwa City, Hokkaido, Nakamura was scouted at the age of 15, joined a Tokyo-based production company at 16, and spent three years of high school traveling from Hokkaido to Tokyo for every audition and photo shoot.
During her seven years in show business as a model and actress, she appeared in dramas such as “Yankee Return to Alma Mater” (TBS) and the NHK historical drama “Koumeigatsuji. However, feeling the limitations of the entertainment industry, she retired at the age of 22 and returned to Sapporo.
He then decided to pursue a successful career in business. His first step in life as an entrepreneur began. At that time
“I had no regrets about being in the entertainment business,” says Nakamura.
Nakamura says, “I had no desire to be in the entertainment industry. On the strength of her modeling career, she developed a nail salon, walking classes, and a home-care business. The business seemed to be going well, but then the new Corona epidemic spread throughout Japan. The business was reduced to a single nail salon.
In this pinch, however, what came to his mind was, “I want to work in expression again,
“I want to do a job where I can express myself once again.
The president of Sapporo Television, Inc.
There I met Mr. S, a former head of the production center of Nippon Television Network Corporation (NTV). This man supported me during my days as an entertainment reporter, and he went on to serve as president of STV Sapporo Television Broadcasting, an affiliate station in Hokkaido.
The reason for this was that Mr. Nakamura was friends with Mr. S’s wife. Mr. Nakamura’s wife originally worked in the TV industry and has now established a company with the motto “Energize Hokkaido.
She says, “You cannot be healthy in a polluted environment. To walk beautifully is to take care of one’s environment. People who are able to do so can also have an awareness of how to “regulate” the global environment.
Mr. S was so impressed by Ms. Nakamura’s way of life that he decided to make her a member of his wife’s company, and at the same time, he entered into a business tie-up with Sun Music, a major entertainment production company, to manage Ms. Nakamura himself.
The skill that made Mino Monta a TV star
Incidentally, Mr. S scouted Mino Monta from the world of radio to television and made him a star by selecting him to host “Omoikkiri TV” (Nippon Television Network Corporation) in the afternoon. As such a “big name” in the industry, there is no reason why Ms. Nakamura should not be a big seller since he is in love with her and is promoting her.
Last December, Ms. Nakamura competed in the “Mrs. Global Earth World Competition,” which pursues global environmental protection, and was crowned the world’s top winner. She has achieved glory not only in the business world, but also in the entertainment world.
I hope to be able to convey the message that women can shine no matter what age they are, and to be someone who pushes others to do the same. I also want to spread the food culture of my hometown, Hokkaido, to the world. I would like to do work that will help achieve this. In the future, I would like to appear more and more on TV programs and in magazines.
Nakamura’s dreams are big now that she has once again found herself in the entertainment industry. But it may be on the verge of becoming a reality.
I think life is a journey to find out what I am,” she says. That’s why it’s fun, like a treasure hunt. The moment you realize it, your true life begins.
Her carefree smile already shows her star power. I have a feeling that I will be seeing her on TV more often in the near future.
I have cried, laughed, been angry, hurt, lost, and ……. But with the support of so many people, I was able to get through it. I found something really important. I hope that I can make my dream come true with a smile, together with all of you. That is my wish.”
She has already been working as an MC for various events in Sapporo, as an ambassador and narrator for corporate promotions, and has been asked to be an ambassador for the “SEIBUEN KEIRIN Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony 2024” to be held on November 30.
We can only have high expectations for Ms. Nakamura, who is steadily climbing the ladder as a new star.
